However, I chew gum a lot while playing, so I know that in and of itself won't be an issue. I often tuck the gum similar to what you would do with snuff, and that's how I keep it often while I play. On to the product: I haven't noticed that I get a huge "JOLT" from the gum. I do drink a lot of coffee, usually done by 10 or 11 o'clock in the AM. That said, I do drink coffee while I play if it's in the AM. It hasn't affected my game yet, we'll see as I get older, LOLZ. The pieces are large. In fact, they may be too large for some people. If you don't particularly like a large piece of gum, this product may not be for you. The flavor is spearmint, which usually is a "no go" for me. I'm not a spearmint fan, but the flavor of the gum is pretty good, not as strong as a lot of other spearmint gum products. The flavor is VERY long lasting, and the gum stays chewable for a very long time. In terms of the quality of the gum itself, it's excellent! I sent an inquiry to the manufacturer regarding the “nutritional†qualities, and received a response very quickly. 10 calories is a bit much for a sugarless gum, but the pieces are large, and the caffeine probably offsets that some, eh? I will say that the product is a bit pricey, IMO. The box I received to test has (5) packs with five pieces each, and retails for $21.00 online, plus shipping and applicable taxes, if any. I had some gum years ago in college that had caffeine in it but I can't remember for the life of me what it was called.
