Looking to offload equipment

Recommended Posts

Hello all! I am a new member and first off wanted to thank you for the knowledge here.  I've lurked around the forums and blog for years.  I am new to posting in the forums so would appreciate if you let me know if this is a disallowed subject or if I am posting it in the wrong location.

I owned a small local club-making shop in Tulsa, OK for years.  Then in 2013 I moved to NY to be a full-time volunteer. I packed up all of my equipment in a storage unit where it has sat sense.  I recently moved back to Tulsa but the winds of fate took me in a different direction and i have decided to part ways with all of my equipment.  I have hundreds and hundreds of heads/iron sets/shafts/grips and would like to sell them. I cannot think of a better place to offer them, but was curious:

  • Are classified postings permissible here?
  • Are there any members that would be interested?
  • Do you think it would be best to do a bulk listing (everything goes to one person), bulk by type (e.g. iron shafts, wood shafts, driver heads, iron heads, etc), or individual listings?

Attached is an old brochure I had made for our items so you can get an idea for the type of inventory.  Everything is new and most heads still have the cello-wrap on them.  It would be great seed inventory for someone looking to start a club making, or a great way to boost inventory with budget items.

Thank you for your time and guidance.

Welcome to MGS! Look forward to having you around! There is a classifieds section in MGS. I don't speak for the site itself (I'm just someone that hangs out here and has sold a few things, so someone may be able to give you a more concrete answer) but based on the amount of things you have, I'd post it in small increments. Maybe one or two posts. One may have a few iron sets and the other may have some shafts. Then as they sell, you can always create a new posting with something else.

I know you said you've lurked around on forums. Hope you stick around MGS for a bit. It's a great place with some great people!

I may possibly be interested in club making / shop equipment. Drop me a private message (PM) to discuss. Also check your PM to read another note from me.

Thanks

I'm looking for a large magnet or a metal plate for stamping. Any of those things available? Thank you!
