One more thought and then I swear I'll be done until the draft this evening. The scoring style here really takes away some solid players imo. Having no counts for European Tour events makes this more challenging. The question is, do you take a stud like Fleetwood knowing he's only getting maybe half the season of starts out of him at best to hold a roster spot to be used in those circumstances, or do you take a guy who's going to play more events and by attrition score more than Fleetwood might with a couple good finishes.

Starting with the WGC yes. You're drafting a roster of 8 guys who will form your roster for the whole season. That's the deal. You need to consider your choices going forward throughout the whole year, not just tournament to tournament like in some games.

You're picking players for the whole season. You can drop/add/trade as you go just like football. Waivers will process Wednesday mornings. I think you can also trade draft picks if you're feeling frisky.

 

I had the season starting with the WGC because I didn't think we'd get the draft done in time but now, I've moved it up to the Honda since we're doing this thing tonight.

 

Lineups lock 5 minutes before the start of the tournament so I'd recommend you all save your starters tonight after the draft.

Just tried to go into trades Stud, looks like draft order is locked unless you can make edits if people come to handshake deals.

Just looked into it and enabled draft pick trading. No future years considerations. Don't know if you'll be able to make a deal in time but good luck.

 

I also enabled trading during the draft to give a little more time for negotiating.

Started for an event? Yes.

You can start DJ all season if you want.

 

 

 

Picked by more than one player for their team? No.

I thought about making divisions with repeating players but decided not to. There's hundreds of players on tour and anybody can win any given week. With the range of PGA events this season, your superstars may even play a more selective schedule so depth will be key anyway. Plus, who wants to root for and against their own player?

It was showing that central standard time. At least up until around 330pm. It's not anymore.
