Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy Wolf Creek is an awesome course! Some people find it a little gimmicky, but I absolutely loved playing it. There aren't too many courses like it.. As for courses not on your list, Paiute is a great course as well. They have 3 18-hole courses on property. I only have experience playing the Wolf course though. I would definitely go play there again. Kmercier
There is the Bears Best Course, Cascata, and another Jack Nicklaus course Reflection Bay. If you want a more moderately prices course, I really enjoy Rhodes Ranch, Chimera, and Siena. I don't know what conditions are like in the late summer. but they were all courses i would play again in a heartbeat. There really is a lot of courses in the Vegas area. Good luck, and have fun BrookseyNZ and MGoBlue100 2 Quote WITB - New Drive, Irons, and putter for 2019. What could possible go wrong? MGoBlue100
I've played a bit in Vegas. I wouldn't say LV National is in the top 25, but I personally love the course. It's close to the Strip, and has a lot of “Old Vegas†cool vibe to it. Not always maintained the best, but many of the holes have great shot values. I would have loved to have played there 35-40 years ago. Paiute is fantastic!! Long ways out of town. You will think you are lost. Three Pete Dye courses. All excellent!! Staff at both of these courses are great. West part of town, Angel Park has always been good. On the way to Summerlin. South of town in Henderson, Rio Secco is a great course. I think they have recently redone the course, so I am sure it is perfect. This is also the home of Butch Harmon's teaching school, so you never know who you'll run into. If you've never been, I would at least run by Top Golf, even if you only wander around with a beer and check it out. Very cool, IMO. Enjoy! ALD
I live here in Henderson, I play golf several times a week and have played most courses out here. Reasonable priced courses--and first courses off the plane... Chimera is a course that is golfer friendly and not long. 6757 from the tips. Usually in great shape. Rhodes Ranch again not a long course but golfer friendly not too many required long carries about 6700 from the tips Medium priced courses-- Revere--two courses desert style....Lexington is more target golf, Concord is more traditional golf with some shot making required. Boulder Creek--27 holes. Several sets of tees could play to 7300 yards some desert and some traditional looks....Open so wind blows everyday Las Vegas National--Best time of the year to play there is February through May and October through November. When it dries out a tough course Senia is a nice course--not long but some blind shots and some holes that require no drive on par 4's Spanish Trails--27 holes short with fast greens not a desert course Arroyo at Red Rock--layout a little confusing but if you play with someone who knows the course it is a very playable course Coyote Springs--A Jack Nicklaus course--Can play from 7500 down to about 5500 yards. Large landing areas--but the greens are really difficult. Expect to buy a new putter after playing. Higher price courses Reflection Bay--Great course--7200 down to 5400--Bent grass greens, some carry over desert but fair and a good test of golf--A Jack Nicklaus signature course South Shore--7100 down to 5500--A Jack Nicklaus signature course--dramatic elevation changes. Great views TPC Las Vegas 7400 down to 5500--one of the most demanding courses in the desert TPC Summerlin 7255 down to 5850--long, wide fairways--better courses in Vegas to play for the money Dragon Ridge--My favorite course in Las Vegas--some length and some short holes but in the best shape of most of the courses in the LV valley. Southern Highlands--A great championship golf course--private club but out here money talks and you can get on. Home course for UNLV golf teams... Cascata--A very high priced golf experience. Great course. Tough to play and caddies required. A great golf experience. Rio Secco--A re-done golf course--Really interesting golf holes with dramatic elevation changes and again a great golf experience. Shadow Creek--Michael Jordan has an annual charity event here and it was a Steve Wynn Course--high dollar and again a great golf experience. Wynn---Was desert inn now closed--December 2017 If you go up to Mesquite to play Wolf Creek and once in a life time adventure--and great fun other courses to play there... Conastoga is a good course to play, priced well below Wolf Creek Falcon Ridge is another good course that is very affordable. sltroyer
I've played Desert Pines multiple times (good value vs. other courses and nice layout). They have a lot of fun with some talented cart girls. Its quick and easy to get to/from from the strip and downtown. Bali Hai was an absolutely Incredible resort course. Paiute - The Wolf was a great desert layout. Angel Park and Rio Secco are next on my list to try.

Wondergiulio
Hi! i have business in Vegas and travel (used to because of this happening...) there every month. the one you mentioned are top notch. i would add Paiute (all good but wolf is the best) and bear’s best without of course going to the ones that break the bank (like Wynn, shadow creek) also I have heard great things of reflection bay. one very underrated one, close to the strip and I found interesting is Royal Links. A reproduction of some holes of the US open. Fun round and not crazy expensive. stay out of Bali hai. Boring and not well kept. the rest of courses are ok.. Titleist87
I have only played Wolf Creek in Mesquite and had a great time. Challenging holes as it plays in and out of the topography. Shot a -1 on the back (where we started) and we'll not talk about the front 9. Adjacent to an airport with active parachutists so that was a little interesting having then fall from the sky through most of the round or walking through the course edges to get back to the airport. Patriots68
Paiute is great although the wind can be quite a challenge out there sometimes. The locals I've talked to all say Royal Links is a great course but I haven't tried it. Around the time you're planning in going most of the courses start preparing to overseed for the winter so be mindful of that. Some of them stop watering and let the rough go dormant. Then after they seed they'll shut down for a couple of weeks. Edited May 20, 2020 by Patriots68
TackettPNP
One course that has not been mentioned yet in the Las Vegas area is Chimera. Chimera is a fantastic course that is fair but very challenging. They have some of the best greens in the area and are a very good value!
