I would love to just play golf, maybe have handicapped competition (no scramble, shamble, etc), then eat together in a way we can mix a bit and meet folks, then have door prizes for gear. I just want to get to know folks.

I'm all for resort courses with big greens fees.  No trophies, no flights - just a big ass scramble. With plenty of loud music on the course and chock full of entitled millennials.

So representing the evil millennials, do I have to bring the loud music and be the most entitled one in attendance?

 

And some place with a great night life so we can take the party off the course!

Or we could party on the course after hours and whomever gets arrested last...wins the grand prize?

Rob - Tiger Woods would make it an epic event. Plus the MGS community would increase by several hundred thousand.

 

Back to reality, I think demoing clubs would be a great idea. Maybe a few industry insiders, and fitters?

If you were going to host an MGS outing, where would you do it? Just pretend you are going to put on the best wing ding this site has ever seen or maybe just a couple of days for locals to hang out. So let's see what ya thoughts are and who knows it might come true!

Just read an article about Mammoth Dunes - writer *loved* it, said it was the most fun golf he's ever played.
