Az_T
I've been searching for a decent single prong divot tool, and came across this image. Anybody know who made it for MyGolfSpy and where I might be able to purchase one? Thanks in advance Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
PlaidJacket
I'm sorry I don't. But I had a single prong similar to that one day and hated it. Unless you've used a single before (and liked it) then I don't think you'll like that style. IMHO. cnosil
Adam probably had them custom made trying to find some merchandise. I would suggest checking with the custom putter makers, they often make them https://www.seamusgolf.com/collections/hand-forged/Pitch-Tool http://www.vokey.com/product/VV39457.html#start=7 I also know mannkrafted putter company made them for a while. excourse
I've never heard of a single prong divot tool. How would that work? Would a pocket knife suffice? Az_T
Thank you! I've used a two prong tool for 15 years, until I randomly was put in a group playing at a new course with a green keeper. Cut a long story short, he saw me repair a mark (pushing in toward the centre) using a two prong tool. He told me to try using a tee next time or a plastic single prong tool, as it was more effective and better for the green. He was right, it was far cleaner and effective in repairing the mark, hence why I'm looking for one. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
MattF
I've used this one forever. It works great and is good for the green. https://www.markmender.com/golf-tools/divot-repair-tools/divot-repair-tool-cigar-holder/ In the bag: Driver: Darkspeed X 9° UST Mamiya LIN-Q M40X Blue 7F4 Fairway: Apex UW 19° & 21° Project X HZRDUS Smoke RDX Black 5.5 Irons: JPX 923 HMP 5-PW UST Mamiya Recoil 95 F4 Wedges: T-22 Denim Copper 48°, 52° & 56° UST Mamiya Recoil 95 F4 Putter Sycamore 005 Wide Blade Bag: Fairway 14 stand bag Balls: Chrome Tour Cart: CaddyLite ONE Ver. 8 God Bless America, God save the King, God defend New Zealand and thank Christ for Australia! Bosox04
Martini tees work well as a single prong divot tool.
Kegger
I have a single prong laying around the house somewhere, but I still prefer using my double prong that has a clip. I clip it to the inside of my pocket, and then I never have to hunt for my ball mark (magnetic to the divot tool). The main reason I don't like using a single prong though is how stabby it gets in the pocket!
