Just for the fun of it....

 

Most of us have a avatar, photo, or some type of icon to identify ourselves here in the forum. For those of us that use a photo; is that really you? Obviously, I'm not Sam Sneed. But still,  I like ole Sam. He was a sweet swinger of the club and a classy dapper kind of guy. I like the old retro image of golf that Sam and others of his era now represent.

 

So, if you use a photo as your Forum identity tell us a little bit about yourself or why you chose the photo... or icon/avatar.

I think we had something similar to kind of post last year but I'll play along. I chose my two hunting dogs because when I'm not at work I'm either hunting or golfing depending on the time of year.

Mine is self evident - I am a Lutheran Pastor at a church with a Day School in St Pete, Florida. I'm also the chaplain for the Deaconesses in our church body.

Mine is my son one of the first times he played some holes with me. I need to update it to one that I took of him on the Gonzales golf course last week. Or one of my daughter. She was knocking the heck out of it the other day.

I just changed. This is the cover to one of my favorite albums (Scottish band, to boot), and the title is just perfect for my forum handle. I just need to find a better version of the picture with higher contrast.

 

Edit: I think I found a better pic. Let me know if you can actually read the album title.

Mine is definitely of a hat I own and wear on the course frequently. It rotates with about 6 others I've got in the queue. I love that old-school script! I may change things up a bit myself as far as the pic goes, but for now it represents me to a tee I think.

I don't follow anything or anyone except what I want to.... which most of the time is NOT the norm...lol.  I've been a die hard Raiders fan for 50 years. Al Davis (RIP) and the Raiders exemplify the way I think.

LOL I knew it was on the 18th at TPC "Myrtle Beach" it is right around the corner from me--- The reason I put Myrtle Beach in quotation marks is it ain't in Myrtle but actually in Murrells Inlet. That is sorta a sore point with us guys on the South Strand--- Most of us South Stranders do not want anything to do with "Dirty Myrtle" as we call it---

My avatar is actually me from 10 years ago now. 10 years ago and 50 lbs heavier--- I was a sorta un official Infiniti Golf staffer did R&D work for Championship Golf in Garden City with Infiniti Wishon and KZG clubs. The guy that set up my computer stuff did my pic on here and WRX.  Championship Golf is closed down now he sold out and moved somewhere in Texas
