This would be a great way to start the golf year. Am working on a new swing called Channel Lock and having fitted clubs would be a most excellent way to put it into action.

1. Willard - Athens, GA

2. Mizuno MP33 S300 True Temper shafts

3. 14 Hdcp

4. My goals for the 2018 season are to get much more consistent. I have plenty of length, but I don't always get the accuracy I'd like.

My short game from 150 in, is pretty good, yet there's always room for improvement.

Not a bad lag putter, but sometimes they get away from me and I have to celebrate that nobody and I mean NOBODY, lines up a 4th putt like I do.

With the finding of the Channel Lock swing and putting it into practice with some good success, I expect this to be the year I find consistency in my game.

Having a set of new clubs to go with the new swing would be a dream come true.

Good luck to all who enter and I hope I get to be 1 of the 5.

Remember "An ugly birdie beats a beautiful par"

CHEERS!

Mizuno MP33 irons - Stiff, standard length, 1º flat

Krank Rage head on a Penley Extra Stiff 46" shaft

Right handed

Lawrenceville, GA

12 handicap - but I'm "Workin' on it."

Ended last year on a 9.1, playing all winter in a simulator league so hopefully I can maintain that and improve when the weather finally cooperates.

4. Your goals for the 2018 golf season

My goal for 2018 is to improve my consistency with ball striking and hitting more greens by having a better understanding of my actual club distances and playing for the correct miss (i.e. dont short side myself by missing to the wrong spot near the green).  I hope to use more tracking this year to get a better understanding of where am gaining and losing strokes on the golf course.
