My Name is Mary Schwind i live in Texas and my handicap is currently 11.1

My 2018 goals are to be a single digit handicap golfer by improving my short game. I was a team sport athlete in my youth and picked up golf in my 40.

Competitive golf has fulfilled that competitive nature.

What a great opportunity to try a new set of sticks!! Used first generation Arccos to establish baseline numbers, then used those numbers to fill-out the bag. Dropped from a 5 hdcp to a 2.1 in just 3 months, and still improving.

Gordon  - New Jersey

GHIN 15.6

Driver - Cobra King LTD Stiff stock Aldila Rogue Shaft.  set to 10.5*

4 wood - Cobra F6 Baffler 4-5 wood. Stiff, set to 16*

3 Hybrid - Lynx Predator19* regular.  (have had it in my bag for 10 years, cost 25$ new, LOL)

4-PW Cobra F6, steel shaft, regular.

GW Cobra S3 Graphite (stock) Shaft Regular. ( I have better feel for this than the F6 set GW)

SW Cobra Tour Trusty 56* Steel Regular

LW Cleveland CG 10 60* Steel regular.

Putter Rife Bellevue - Black

I play a minimum of once a week, usually twice.

I  am a member of a local muni course, that is well maintained, tips out at 6250 yards and rewards precision through the bag.

My goal is to get myself down from that 15.6 GHIN to about a 12 handicap, and win my flight. I feel that is fairly realistic.

I have never been "fitted" for clubs before, but have been a believer in Cobra's equipment over the last several years.

I would love to be a tester. NCGA handicap currently 16.

Current set-up Ping G 30 irons, steel speed shaft, Cleveland Launcher Driver and 3 wood, Miyazaki tour issue shafts. Cleveland wedges 52, 56, 60, project X shafts low bounce. Putter, Nike method.

Run a golf league in Sacramento, and play weekly over the summer not including personal rounds.

Goal: was a 12 handicap mid last summer, and would like to get back there, and drop to a 10 or better. Working on short game

2) It's a little ugly:

Cleveland HiBore 10.5 Driver

Penick 12* 1 wood

Ping Eye2 2 iron

Ping i20 4-UW

Cleveland Oil Can 56* and 60*

Guerin Rife 2-Bar mallet

2b) It doesn't look as ugly in the bag as it does written out in this post. Bleah.

3) 29

4) - The following are not in any particular order :

- Get in at least one round per week

- Get the crappy handicap at least into the low 20s

- Spend some quality time with my 5 year old grandson at the driving range

- Get said grandson on a course occasionally to hit some real shots

- Get some lessons in to help with basically all of the above.

Bob. Illinois

Taylormade M2 6 thru Gap; Callaway Big Bertha OS 4 and 5 hybrids; Callaway Epic Driver; Taylormade M2 5 wood; Ping G400 3 wood; Care RX-5 putter; Titleist M6  54 and 58 wedges

Index= 18

My goal for 2018 is to lower my index to 10, make a hole in one, and be competitive during events that I play in during the year.  Probably most importantly I would like to have a lot of fun playing and it is easier to do when you are playing well.
