JAGolfore 2,746
So I thought with a lot of companies giving free personalization we could show how we all get our golf balls. MDGolfHacker I totally understand your point and we are in the same boat. A personalized ball is a good means of identification and one should always be able to identify their ball. But also, it is such identification that keeps me from using personalized balls. I would never personalize a ball that clearly shows my ownership. Most assuredly, I would be in the 19th hole and someone would come in and say: Hey, Wahoo, you must be on your game, we found a couple of your balls.
revkev 25,157
I have to delete some pictures to post but mine are Revkev and they are all Titleist ProVIx 8's. I go for a bill fitting at the club tomorrow to see if I need to switch over to the Pro VI. I still have a dozen plus left from the four dozen that I ordered at this time last year. Not bad since nearly all of my rounds are played on very tough and very tight courses with lots of water. Berg Ryman 5,415
So, I'm at work and I have not pictures, but I guess I'll comment in its place. First 4 dozen personalized balls I ever ordered were blowout Maxfli U6-LC from 2015. In red, and in a shout out to Youtube's best pair of Muppets, I went with Golf's ultimate question, "Is Ryan Bergman Even A Pro?" Kind of a tongue in cheek reference to even getting balls personalized in the first place. Just got 2 dozen Srixon Q Star Tours personalized with my last name Bergman in purple. When I order more Srixons later this year before my offer runs out to by at wholesale, I'm going with my Twitter handle @Berg_Ryman, maybe in Orange, to help grow my brand in a silly and ridiculous way. Basically, my personalizations are just me having fun, and that's what golf should be about. 3 Quote In a Hoofer Lite bag ST180, 10.5, Kuro Kage Silver TINI Dual Core 60-S Epic Flash Sub Zero, 15*, Kuro Kage Silver TINI Dual Core 60-S CBX119 18* Hybrid, Project X Evenflow Blue, 6.0 JPX 921 Hot Metal Pro 4-P, Nippon 950GH Stiff Flex Hi Toe Raw 48* (bent from 50*), 53* (bent from 54*), and 58*, Nippon 950GH Stiff Flex SIK Golf Flo-C Pro V1X, 2021 Model, #
STUDque 12,366
These are actually my first personalized balls ever. Shankster 31,588
I thinking about getting “Shankster†tattooed on a few dozen. Bet you'll think twice before coming in my fairway and hitting my ball once you read that. Or maybe “Cold Shanks†would work. “Shanks-a-lot†Something along those lines.

00sportsman 2,388
I've thought about personalized golf balls, but I play some pretty tight courses and want at least a small level of plausible deniability with some of my huge slices. jhellrung 97
I like personalized balls for stuff like member guests and golf trips. I take an annual trip with my dad and brothers in law and get customized balls each year. I save one ball and put it in the golfball rack in my office. Good memories when I'm working on something boring. 1 Quote What's in the Bag: Driver - Titleist TS2 11.5, Diamana 70 Stiff Flex FW - Callaway Razr X 3 Wood Rescue - Taylormade Rocketballz 4 Rescue Irons - Callaway Apex CF19, Nippon S. Berg Ryman 5,415
See, I don't mean to knock some of y'all in the thread, but if your biggest fear is losing your personalized ball, if you're going to lose them anyway why does it matter? Wouldn't you like to have something uniquely your own out there? Take advantage of that free personalization and go for it. Then, do what Jhellrung said above, keep one for yourself. I keep a sleeve of each different personalized ball so I have it for memories.
