LoganT
Not sure if this is the right place to post this or not but I was wondering if any of you have hit both of these sets and what your opinions on these irons are. I'm torn between which ones to use. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
Shankster
I'm sure someone here can help you out. I have hit the Nike's not the Clevelands. From what I remember I liked them.

jayjay0808
588's were one of the best irons Cleveland put out in my opinion. Great feel and a lot of Cleveland pros kept them in the bag for a long time In my bag: Driver: Rogue ST Triple Diamond LS 10.5* (set to 9.5) UST Lin-Q Gunmetal 6f5 Wood: Tsi2 15* Project X RDX Black 70 6.5 Hybrids: King Utility 19.5* Diamana Tensei White Pro 90TX Irons: Cobra King Tour MIM 4-PW Dynamic Gold 120 X100 Wedges: Milled Grind 3 50*, 54*, 58* Tour Issue S400 Putter: Nashville Z1C 34" Ball: Pro V1x
Sturgeon
I have the 588 CB and absolutely love the clubs. Very smooth through the turf, nice sound and very good feedback. Conservatively lofted, i.e. I7 at 35 deg. Those irons are Endo forged and traded at Ebay for about $200 a set. A steel imho. I bought a second as backup. Will never sell them. SeeMore Putts
The 588s are what I play and I love them. Will play them for as long as I possibly can. They look good and when you pure a shot it feels like butter. MDGolfHacker
They were endo Forged?? No wonder I loved them when I demoed them... I'd chose the 588s over the Nike. The Nike felt a little bit harder, but not by much. I only hit them during demo days though. MDGolfHacker TSssWhat's In This Lefty's Bag? LoganT
Any idea who forged the Nike irons? Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
JTexGolfer
Never got to hit them but always wanted a set. Very classic lines and looks to be a good forging. 400 Driver (8*) UST ATTAS Punch 6S F6 Baffler (16*) Matrix Red Tie 65Q4 816 H1 Hybrid (21*,23*) Diamana S+ Blue 82 HY Z765 (5-PW) +2* Aerotech Steelfiber i110cw Vokey SM5 50.08F 54.10M Aerotech Steelfiber i110cw PM Grind 60* Dynamic Gold S400 TR 1966 Anser 2 Z Star ball Pioneer Cart Bag
LoganT
Thanks for the replies everyone. Just got a chance to hit both sets side by side along with the Ben Hogan redlines and I have to say that the Clevelands felt softer than the nikes. I also like the idea of having cb in the long irons and mb in the 7-pw with the clevelands. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
