I'm with you. I don't have anywhere near the wardrobe to worry about dressing out like that. I'm lucky to pick stuff that doesn't clash.

I always try to remember that I'm not good enough to get mad!

Very conservative attire.  Most often khaki slacks/shorts on a solid polo or grey slacks/shorts.  Wide array of windshirts to deal with New England spring and fall and basic FJ  or Adidas shoes.

 

After over forty years working on golf courses, I've been treated for numerous spots of skin cancer on the face and my bald head, so nothing but wide brimmed hats...mostly Tilley or the Peltz Imperial wide brim.  I really love the Tilley Hats!!

I'm all over the map, but I do own three pink golf shirts (my mom's a breast cancer survivor as well). I'll usually pair those with dark pants (grey or navy). Now that I work for a software company, I split my work time between t-shirts and flip-flops at home or in the office and dress pants and sport coats when I visit clients. Thank god for micro-fiber dress pants that can go from the office to the golf course.

 

My dad and I dress alike when we play in his member-guest (yeah, we're one of those teams), and my mom usually picks the most obnoxious shirts she can find (like pink with neon green stripes, which I still wear regularly). I'm thinking about outfitting us with shirts and hats from Muni Kids (https://munikids.com) this year because I'm still a muni course rat, and my dad is still one at heart.

I know my Sundays would be all black with the white and black FJ wing tip shoes. Other days probably some blues, greens and pink. Really like that pink nike shirt Tiger has been wearing

Man, I went golfing in Virginia when it 95° out with pants on. I'd rather be a little warm and not sun burnt. Not to mention the mosquitoes...

Get those moisture wicking pants and use light colors. I tend to go light Grey or light brown when it's really hot out with a lighter color shirt.

Yeah. Those Nike golf pants are paper thin. I'm sure the rest of the brands have that offering. Shorts. I hate shorts.

This. I do not buy wool dress pants anymore. All microfiber. SWMBO approved. When I leave the client, I can swap the dress shirt and sport coat for a golf shirt and be cool and comfortable to about 95 degrees. I wear pants when I volunteer at TFT as well.

 

Izod makes great pants cheap, in sizes that fit us rounder guys as well as you flatbellies.

 

I do wear shorts for casual rounds, though.

As for shorts....its been many, many, many years since I've Golfed in shorts. Pants for me all the time since I seem to be in to woods more often I don't have to worry about getting my legs chewed up by thorns... The pants can take the brunt 😁

I'd be sporting Bonobos' golf line all day long if I had the $$$. As a lanky fellow, it's one of the few companies that makes cuts that actually come close to fitting without needing to be tailored and it's decently well made.

 

Puma has put out a handful of tailored polos the past few seasons but in very limited colorways and near impossible to find outside of Ebay. For shorts, I rely on Uniqlo's kando line (pictured in my avatar) cheap and not ridiculously baggy like you'd find in your average golf shop.

Atta boy!  I can see the look in them old boys eyes when I hop out of my 22 year old pick um up truck with my high top pink shoes on.  Today was warm enough to throw on a pair of jorts too  ;)
