Joined a couple of months ago and have been doing some extensive reading for educational purposes, this site has helped me a ton, referred by a friend. US Navy Chief currently stationed at Macdill AFB in FL. Played at a Veteran's association tournament in 2013 and have been hooked on Golf ever since. From then through 2014 I would just go out and drink and have a blast with friends but started taking it seriously in 2015. Played baseball my whole life so I think that has helped in my playing skills from the beginning. Have never taken lessons (not opposed to it), just haven't gotten around to it with deployments and things. I do not keep an official handicap but I do log my rounds through The Grint and I'm about a 15 right now. All of the cow pastures are apartment complexes or housing developments. Great areas for families though for sure.
