Man cave!

Not sure if this has been a topic or not but I was wondering who y'all has a man cave/ place to get away! Lol...mine isn't much but it's a start, also have lazy boy but you can't see it in the pictures .

I have the finished part of the basement for my man cave. No pics right now, but in the next couple of weeks I'll be putting in shelving for a bookcase, 9' long with 5 shelves. (I have a lot of books)

 

I picked up a new to me 73" TV, so that takes pride of place against one wall and have a couple of recliners set up far enough away that I can see the whole screen at one time. I'll also be replacing my 5.1 surround at some stage with a 7.1 system, most likely Yamaha receiver and Polk Blackstone speakers.

Yes, it will.  And you will get more pleasure out of what replaces it.  Enjoy it while you can, but the enjoyment of watching your 5 year old spend hours swinging a golf club in the yard will be far greater.

I've got a putting green, a coffee roaster, a grinder, and a brewer. It ain't pretty, but it gets the job done, and I've spent hours there putting with my boys (3 and 5), with many more hours to come.

That's actually out in the garage. For a cheap net (I think they're in the $30 range on eBay), it holds up fine, especially if you're willing to MacGyver a fix here or there. I currently have a blanket draped in the back of it, which helps the ball not recoil off the net so quickly.

 

I rarely end up hitting driver into it, though, not because I distrust the net, but because my garage ceiling is about three inches too short. I can get away with a very flat driver swing in my garage, but if my release gets vertical at all, my clubhead smashes into the insulation panel ceiling. And so I'm trying to avoid that

My man cave is under construction. I convinced the wife somehow that we don't need a dinning and living room furniture so we have a pool table and bar setup instead.... no clue how I pulled that off

Not much of a man cave, but this where I spend most of my time when it's cold out. Video games, YouTube, reading, trying to figure out what golf stuff I really don't need to buy next.

 

Btw, need something for that blank space. Considering building a putter rack and hanging it up. 🤷‍♂️.
