I love shot tracer, I wish they had it on every hole as well.  I actually like the split screen with hole overview as well.

 

Basically anything that let's me see Spieth short it in the water is a good thing for viewing pleasure :)

Shot tracer is a godsend, but I'm also not a huge fan of the split screen overview just because I don't get the full effect of the shot tracer.

Super excited to watch the Masters with 5 shot tracers in play; hopefully some sweet shots are caught and some sh@&ks to make me feel better about myself of course.

Cost? I heard the cameras needs to be stationary to track the ball properly. Some of those tee boxes don't have anymore space to backup let alone have a stationary camera set up.

That's a very good point! If the tee marked are way back on a tight tee, could cause issue for sure.

OMG the greatest Masters moment EVER with shot tracer.

 

Side note - I stopped watching after 9 cause I couldn't stand to see him win and was elated when I got the text that I better turn it back on. Sadly I missed it live in all it's glory.

Here's how to make the Master's the best broadcast ever...

 

Jim Nantz is the only one allowed to speak.

Piano...non-stop...

Shot Tracer on every hole

 

Nothing more, nothing less...except maybe pump in some fake bird noises if the birds aren't talkative during the broadcast. 

 

Then on Monday after the Master's...

Shot Tracer's worst shots of the tournament...Also narrated by Jim Nantz...but with Yakety Sax playing in the background and the video sped up 3x. And shot tracer on the ceremonial first shots by Nicklaus, Player, etc.

Don't forget that each network has their own "shot tracer" technology. i don't think the masters will have the hole overlay. That appears to be a top tracer NBC thing. The masters will use the CBS shot tracer tech which isn't as laggy as the top tracer tech.
