What are some of your favorite headcovers? Do you go generic or do you customize the look of your bag?

I just picked up a couple Seamus covers for my 3W and 3H. I love them!

I also got a new Scotty St Paddy Day putter cover.

I am pretty much a generic head over person. I usually just keep what came with the club. I will say that I don't like the new style of wood covers; I like the knit portion that covers the shaft. The putter cover would be the only place I would like to express myself. I'd love to come up with a personal design and get one made. Will probably just end up getting a MGS putter cover when they come out and ditch my WRX cover.

I'm the same way as I just keep the default covers on my woods.

My driver has a Manly Sea Eagles (Rugby League club from back home) on it I got back in 2009. Fairways are just the Mizuno covers they came with. Hybrids and irons have black neoprene covers and my 12 year old Yes putter still has the original cover.

Really I am not what you call a head cover guy. I flat refuse to game a putter that I have to use a cover on. Now back in the day with the persimmon woods I did not use covers. Now with metal woods they aggravate the mortal crap out of me clanging. On my driver I do use either a leather cover with my home club's logo on it or a Cleveland barrell style leather simulated cover. On my fairways I use the old school barrel style Ping covers. I have bunches of them because you would not believe how many I have found on POS clubs in the yard. Color coordinated naah does not make one iota to me. But if the leather matching thing is someone's cup of tea then by all means go for it. Now I will admit on my classic Macgregor green and white mini staff I do have matching green Ping fuzzy barrel covers and an old school Masters sock type on my driver.

I don't like flashy brand logos on OEM woods that announce what's in my bag, it just makes me feel uncomfortable. I like aftermarket classic looking covers.

I currently have a set of knit covers with the big pom poms on them. Unfortunately I already got a hole in one and had to do some emergency repairs. I think next time I might go with some leather covers.

I'm so adverse to logos I'm thinking of getting a new bag too, just so I don't have the giant Sun Mountain logo on the side.

If I'm gaming a classic Ping or my 1950's H&B blade putter, no headcover for me either.

I did buy a nice Machine putter and cool gator leather headcover for it this winter with the intent of gaming it this year. Well, the $20 circa 1970's Ping Auld I also bought has come out on top, so it's in the bag, sans headcover of course.

I actually found a PGA Tommy Armour Ironmaster blade putter on the pile a couple of weeks ago. That is one of what I call the crossover year ones where Macgregor did not have the Tommy Armour name but it belonged to the PGA group. Date it around 85 or so. Long hosel like the 54 55 year models. Took and bent the hosel back and it sat good for me. Ended up taping the grip with tennis type tape and trying it week of the junkyard refugee bag. That thing putts so good and has such good feel. Yep it is front line now but I am not getting rid of the rusty Scotty either

Here's my old trusty SLDR swaddled in a Rocket Tour knit cover. I've had this one since 2014 and it's held up remarkably well. Every so often I toss it in the wash and it comes out looking great.

Like Stu every putter HC I've had get tossed in a box in the garage. But I always keep a cover on my woods.

When I got my Sun Mountain 2.5, I also got new headcovers. Amazon was selling overstocks from Stitch for about $30 a piece. Got a driver (or so I thought), 3 wood and two hybrid covers. All are white leather, with some sort of black trim. They don't match, but they go together well.

The driver turned out to be a FW cover with a 1 stitched on it. Back that went to Amazon. I replaced it with the black and white version of the Callaway covers that mpatrickriley has.

Then I lost one of the hybrid covers during my first round with it. That's been replaced with a cheap pleather cover from Majek.

I love the Stitch FW cover, but watch the hybrid covers if your hybrids have small heads.

I've always had a mixed bag.

Meaning, while I might use the one that came with a club, I usually save it to pass on to the person I give or sell it to to use (just so it doesn't look beat worse than the club), and instead use something else.

Last year I even purchased a long neck knit one with a pom for my driver with the old-school TM logo on it. And then I've got a USA headcover from the year of the Ryder Cup the U.S. players used after 9/11 that oddly enough is now only large enough to fit my 3w (though it was made for drivers of that era) when it's in my bag, and then I've got one advertising my alma mater I use for my 5w. And then a no-name one for my hybrid.

As was previously mentioned by others, I've never wanted to be "that guy" that whips off the new headcover off the brand new/latest/greatest driver/FW, showing off. But at the same time I don't want to be "that guy" that has a matching set of high-end, personalized, custom-made either.

Putters? Yeah, I don't want a beat up flat stick either. But while my putters rotate in and out of my bag, depending on their behavior and if they get sent to the dungeon (hall closet), I generally want to save the covers that come with them them too - and I've got a well-worn sock-style cover I've had for decades that easily tucks in my back pocket when I remove it and walk to the green.

Overall, low key for me. B)

LOL I know about the old driver covers that will barely fit some 3 woods today. I was piddling around on the range today after Church and took my range bag with my 54 Hogan irons and a couple of persimmon fairways for kicks and giggles. I was hitting my old H&B 4 wood I carried for years and that thing is TINY compare to today's woods. This one kid remarked "he did not know they ever made hybrids out of wood" I about fell over and explained it to him as to what it was. We did compare it to his new TM hybrid and yes they were about the same size. And for crying out loud his 4 hybrid was about the same loft at 22*. The kid did remark that I hit it pretty good. I laughed and told him thanks that it was ok. I was hitting it about 180 or so. I told him back when I was his age I could hit that darn thing about 225 or so with a Balata ball. I told him age changes everything. Yep I have had that thing that long some 40 years and it is a 1959 H&B 4 wood and usually resided in the Macgregor Mini Staff bag under a green Ping Barrel style fuzzy style cover

I have the G400 headcover on my driver still, but I'm looking to get something else. I have a Texas State flag cover for my 3 wood and a Don't Tread on Me hybrid headcover, both from Sunfish. I ALWAYS put the putter cover back on. I hate nicks and dings on a putter. Just my OCD kicking in I guess.

Plaid I have some Rocket Tours as well and they work really well. Mine have held up great as well but I got rid of the pom on the end.

I looked at many of the aftermarket leather headcovers but I just could not find anything that didn't look cheap to me (even thoough they aren't cheap in cost). I really like the look of the new all black covers from PXG.
