Double hit chip

I double hit a chip yesterday and thought to myself I'll be glad when they eliminate the penalty stroke for this.  You have already 

most likely cost yourself a stroke, piling on another whats the point?    

Wonder about hitting yourself or your bag with the ball if that penalty will be eliminated also? Kind of the same thing.

I believe those are both getting eliminated as long as the contact is incidental

As long as its unintentional, the penalty will be eliminated.  You still won't be allowed to purposely try to bank it off your golf bag, or deflect the ball in motion.
