ole gray 17,620
Yes he is and loving it. I played with him last Saturday and tried it again myself a couple of times. Good results both times. Granted I was just off the green a little bit and could have accomplished the similar results, I think; with one of my wedges or even a putter perhaps. But the SS feels good to me. Then on Sunday by buddy called to tell me he made his first eagle using the SS from about 10 yds off the green and sank it. I wasted several strokes around the greens today. It's not that I don't know proper technique. I've been to the Dave Peltz short game school etc. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy 1 Quote Callaway Rogue ST Max Driver 10.5 Cleveland Launcher xl halo hy-wood 18 Degree Cleveland Launcher XL Halo 7- wood Cleveland Launcher XL Irons 5 - PW Cleveland CBX 2 50 & 54 Degree Wedge Cleveland CBX Full-Face Wedge 58 degree Odyssey White Hot OG 7S Putter

ole gray 17,620
I understand your pain! I'm going to do a jam up review on this puppy. I'm in the hacker range (14 handicap) however I do shoot many rounds in the low eighties. I know where I'm losing strokes and it's around the greens. 4 Quote Callaway Rogue ST Max Driver 10.5 Cleveland Launcher xl halo hy-wood 18 Degree Cleveland Launcher XL Halo 7- wood Cleveland Launcher XL Irons 5 - PW Cleveland CBX 2 50 & 54 Degree Wedge Cleveland CBX Full-Face Wedge 58 degree Odyssey White Hot OG 7S Putter
Deuce 20
Honestly can't see anything knocking the CBX's out of the bag for me. But hey, if it works for someone ... game it! Quote What's in My Bag? PING Apologist #9 4,566
I may have considered this club too when starting out since my short game (chips) were absolutely terrible. Since though, that part of my game is slowly turning out to be a strength even with the off-the-rack wedges that came with my set. I think part of the gaining strength is simply the confidence I'm getting with a new ball I'm using/testing...! Also technique is getting better and better too. Actually thinking of getting fitted for Glide 2.0's soon! I'm sure there are folks that'll benefit from the Square Strike fer sure...just not me any more. DPattGolf 1,733
I would never use this but I love the idea of it being used as a training tool for chipping in terms on the swing and setup. Other than the square sole itself, its almost identical to being more upright with a gap or pitching wedge that have some lead tape on them. 1 Quote Driver: Stealth Plus+ (7.25*) - Fujikura Ventus Black 6X Tipped 1" 3 Wood: Stealth Plus+ (14.25*) - Fujikura Ventus Blue 7x Tipped 1" Driving Iron: P790 UDI 2 iron - HZRDUS Smoke Black RDX 100 6.5 4 Iron: P790 - KBS C-Taper 130 X Irons (5-7) P7MC - KBS C-Taper 130 X Irons (8-P) P7MB - KBS C-Taper 130 X Wedges: MG3 Black 50.09 / 55.11 - KBS TOUR FLT 130 X 60* Wedge: High Toe Raw - KBS Tour 130 X Putter: Black ER2 (Finish Courtesy of NorCal Putters) Bag: FlexTech Stand Bag Glove: Under Armour Strikeskin Tour Ball: TP5X #11 RangeFinder: R1 Smart Rangefinder Instagram: @dpattgolf
Brian A 1,399
My dad got one of these, I've tried it, I hate it. I can get much more from my 56* if Im far off the green or my 7 iron with a putting stroke if Im just off. My dad however loves it but cant hit anything from 20 yards and in Quote Driver: TS 2, Hzrdus Smoke Black Stiff 9.5* Setting, A2 Fairway Wood: G30 Stiff Shaft Hybrid: TS2 19* Hzrdus Smoke Black Stiff shaft Irons: 718 AP1 (4-PW) AMT Red Stiff Shafts Wedges: RTX4 52* 56* Putter: Scotty Cameron Golo 5 Right Handed Pittsburgh, PA
