Hello all. I've been checking out Mygolfspy for a while now and thought I should finally join as a member.

 

I'm up in Alaska so needless to say I don't get to play much until May through September. I'm looking forward to getting out and playing this summer and getting in a midnight round on Summer Solstice. 

I've been playing since 2003 but still haven't taken a lesson. Am a bit stubborn and cheap but I've read a lot of golf books and watched hours upon hours of online instructional videos. Last summer I was able to consistently break 100 and notched my first 90. I just love the game even though I know I'll most likely never be great at it.

 

Looking forward to reading all the new club reviews and other golf tech updates.

Thanks. I see that you're playing the Ping i200's irons. I've been looking at upgrading to them. During PING demo days last summer, I hit them well (stiff KBS Tour shaft) at the range. How do you like them?

Thanks. Will do. Have a nephew that lives in Boise. Any recommendations for golf courses down in Idaho? All I know about is the famous Couer d'Alene course with it's island green.

Welcome from the Pacific Northwest!  Glad you joined us.

 
Coeur d'Alene is nice, but Circling Raven on the south end of the lake is better, IMO.  Not familiar with Boise area, but we have some great courses in E. Washington.
