I've never seen Reed hit the ball this high before. I know he's been making some swing changes to hit it higher and add in a cut but damn. I'm impressed.

In previous years he was on my "no chance" list due to how low he hit it.

Interesting leaderboard. Disappointed that Cabrera-Bello didn't make a move today. Reed and Hofmann leading the charge is fun to watch. Weather is going to make this an interesting weekend

Going out in 31 with a bogey is lapping the field today. With the weather forecast for the weekend, he can post a number, play for par Saturday and Sunday and see if anyone can catch him.

I love watching these guys who normally hit fades manipulating the draw.

 

I hope you guys are watching - great golf on a great course with a nice glass of Glenlivedt 18.

 

Not a bad way to spend a Friday afternoon.

 

BTW all my guys survived the cut. Bubba and Stenson are my top two tier guys

It was an interesting watch when I could today. Spieth started like crap but put something salvageable together on the back 9. Reed is a guy who will win a major some day and Kuch was a guy I was hoping would finally win one.

Dufner missing the cut will sting a little, seeing how Tiger is +4, I don't like my chances unless Kuchar and RCB finish 1-2 and Tiger somehow cracks the top 10.

I don't like it when there's such separation between the top 2 and the rest of the field. Hard to make up ground. Unless it's Tiger of course. Kind of makes for a boring tournament.

So my Wilson group is on the fence. JS is front page, Pieters cut, Zach Johnson playing okay, Ollie never even teed it up, and Bernhard is not in the best shape. I wish I would have updated mine
