Erik Anders Lang (of Adventures in Golf fame) tagged along with Ashely Mayo from Golf Digest for press access to the tourney - AND GOT PICKED TO PLAY ON MONDAY. There are reporters who've attended for over a decade w/o getting picked and this guy gets in on his first go around. Guy is living the life right now.He HAS to do an episode! The slow play penalty process goes like this: The player receives a warning for his first "bad time" of the round. If he records a second bad time in the same round, he gets a 1-stroke penalty and $5,000 fine. If he records a third bad time in the same round, he gets a 2-stroke penalty and a $10,000 fine. If he records a fourth bad time in the same round, he is disqualified. However, you will have 60 seconds if you are: -First to play from the tee box on a par 3 -First to play second shot on par 4 or 5 -First to play third shot on par 5 -First to play around putting green and first to play on putting green. Pretty much if you're the first person, you get an extra 20 seconds. His sketchy past not to mention an unprofessional and childish personality turns me off. His Univ. of Georgia kick-out and other issues and problems. Just recently at Bay Hill during a ruling (which he didn't like) because he hit a lousy shot and ended up in the bushes. He went on to suggest to Rules Officials by saying if he were Jordan Spieth the ruling would have been in his favor. What a punk! Keep and eye on this man-child this weekend. He's severely lacking with integrity.
