sixcat
It has to be awkward for the membership at Augusta National to have Patrick Reed be able to come back forever under the “past champions†category. Augusta and The National are full of UGA grads and supporters. Reed will never let them forget his time at UGA! STUDque
It's not. If you'll remember from the original pool announcement, rankings in the pool are determined by purse payout dollars. You can find the total purse breakdown here: https://thegolfnewsnet.com/golfnewsnetteam/2018/03/18/2018-masters-purse-winners-share-prize-money-payout-108817/amp/ Then ties are split between all the positions tied with. For example, Finau and Kuchar are tied for 2nd. They occupy the 2nd and 3rd position on the leaderboard which pay out at $1,188,000 and $748,000 respectively. The tie splits that money paying each player 968,000.........and so on down the leaderboard. Just bumping this comment since there still seems to be confusion on how we're scoring the #SpyStaffSlam contest. Look for an announcement tomorrow. With 1000+ entries, we want to double check the calculations before announcing the winners. I will say this, based on the trends I've seen thus far, you'll need to have had Reed and Rickie plus strong remaining players to have a chance at winning. MAYBE Reed and Jordan but you would've had to be perfect on tiers 3,4,5. With that many entries, the margin for error is very small. Good luck all! Kenny B
Reed has always had a great short game, but his driving has been suspect. It seems like the Ping driver has been a good match for him the last few weeks. It might be enough to make him a contended in more majors. “We don’t stop playing the game because we get old; we get old because we stop playing the game.”

HeathS16
Absolutely this. He makes that eagle putt on 2 and the whole rest of the round changes. He looked rattled from the first tee shot that went 45 degrees right. Recovered well but never seemed settled over the ball. Putts looked rushed too. Sad to see that, but Jordan and Rickie made this Sunday one of the best in my book, there was so much to watch!! Even my wife sat and watched with me.
