dhartmann34
I'd go with Snell personally, but Vice isn't a bad ball. Best way is to get em all and try them out I suppose. Lots of information in this thread as well. Snell vs vice I’m debating which one to order for my buddy and I. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy I've only had a small exposure to Vice after finding a Vice Pro (in electric red) earlier last season. Played 3 holes with it and to me it seemed a little hard feeling off the driver face. It didn't seem to fly very well for me either. At that time (granted) I was just getting into my testing of the MTB Reds and transitioning from exclusive use of my former go-to ball, the E6 softs and was experimenting with several other balls to make comparisons. I just didn't like it-at least that particular one. During testing of the reds, I also bought a box of blacks and noticed right away that they were superior in feel, spin and performance (especially in the wind). For me, the blacks are just a fantastic ball that rivals the PV1 and with its price point, a total no-brainer. STUDque
This intrigues me. What could it possibly be??? More models??? More colors??? I picked up the Snell Reds just because I wanted a yellow ball for winter golf. Have really been enjoying them tbh. Not seeing the wind effects others have reported but that's why balls are so personal. bens197
I like my Vice Pro Plus but I’m intrigued by the love here for the Snell. If they’re close I think the 2019 stock for me is going to be MTB Red. There are many times where a white ball just blends in too much with other things on the course when the sun is low reflecting off of leaves, feathers or whatever that makes everything look like a white orb. I often also notice that when we have mild inversions-like this time of year-white balls simply get lost up in the haze too easily. Yellow may help both cases. Fingers crossed if they do come out!I'll surely give them a whirl. dhartmann34
Bought a whole bunch of these in the winter sale. Excited to get out and use them with my somewhat improved swing! They've been great in wind and 'meh' weather so far for me.....so I expect that to continue. I see 3-4 big tournaments on my agenda. Not sure what they can do to improve things, but I look forward to learning what's in the pipeline!
