The good news is his tee time isn't until about 1ET, so he's still got a few hours of icing and pain killers! 

 

In all honesty I wonder how far down the NFL player pain treatment road golfers can go. I feel like taking a bunch of pain killers and being a rush blocker would be easier than popping some pills and keeping your wits about you on the course-- let alone your first time playing at Augusta!

You would think these players would have learned from the Dustin Johnson debacle last year...

 

If I were Tony, I would tee it up today regardless. Another trip to the Masters isn't guaranteed. It may never happen again.

True but I also wouldn't be surprised if he was issued a special invitation to next years Masters if he ends up not playing since it was a freak injury that happened during the Par 3 contest
