StillSeeking10
Great interest in this opportunity as Cleveland renew their former esteem & to make inroads into the golf equipment community. Their length compared to the G400 LST will make me hold off on a fitting until this choice is made at MGS. jjskowron
Good luck to all the applicants. As to me? Your first name and your home state/province John, Illinois Your current driver/shaft combination Cleveland Launcher DST 12.5 Mitsubishsi Diamana 44 A-flex Your driver swing speed/carry distance carry = 190-200 yds. in the air. Your current handicap 10-14 depending on time of year I play a lot (at least 150 rounds) between spring and autumn so the driver would get a thorough evaluation. I also would be able to benchmark it against not only the DST, but other drivers that I mess with from time to time. I'm also a data guy (professional researcher) so this is my thing (for example, I yearly make my putters compete against each other to become my gamer). Forever in search of the perfect club... mirvroland
1st Name/State: Marc - Michigan Current Driver/Shaft: Callaway Big Bertha with Fubuki z50x5ct A Flex Driver swing speed/Carry distance: 80mph/180 yards Current handicap: index 23.1 I tried a borrowed Cleveland Launcher HB in Florida - 12 degrees with a Mizazaki c Kua senior A flex shaft. I was able to hit it over 200 yards with a slight draw keeping it in the fairway without trying to kill it. I would like to be able to see if that was a fluke or if the club generated that improvement.
Leitzsales
(3) TESTERS WANTED Cleveland Launcher Driver - FPB.JPG Cleveland Launcher HB Driver With Your Choice of Premium Shaft Do like your drivers long and beastly or straight and narrow? Do you like to fiddle with features or do you prefer grip it and rip it simple? There are no wrong answers here, it's just a matter of what you value. And if you value a driver with a yard-to-dollar ratio close to 1, you might just find value in the Cleveland Launcher HB. Cleveland Launcher 5.jpg TESTERS WANTED: There's a lot of 2008 in the new Cleveland Launcher HB - there's the name, of course, and the updated HiBore crown. There's no adjustable hosel, and a $299 price tag that will make you feel young again. The Launcher HB was a solid performer in this year's Most Wanted Testing, finishing in the top half of the pack, only 3 yards behind the PING G400 LST but with a 25% lower sticker price. That's how the off-the-rack model performer for us, but we'd like to see how a customized model works for you. We want THREE avid golfers to test, review and keep the Cleveland Launcher HB equipped with YOUR CHOICE of any premium shaft in the Cleveland catalog (click here to see the lineup). Yes, ANY SHAFT. DSC_0997.JPG How To Apply: All applications must be made in this thread, so please follow the instructions carefully. Please tell us the following: Your first name and your home state/province Your current driver/shaft combination Your driver swing speed/carry distance Your current handicap Cleveland-Launcher-driver-3-1001.jpgThanks for applying! We'll announce the testers in this thread next week - Good Luck! Sent from my iPad using MyGolfSpy
