(3) TESTERS ANNOUNCED: Cleveland Launcher HB Driver

Recommended Posts

GolfSpy.,...I am all in.  Why?  First I am a Cleveland iron/wedge guy but use a Ping G series driver.  Second, I am that average golfer that represents a wide swath of the golfing public!  I am a 14 handicap that plays a couple times a week, I am over the age of 50 but still has lots of life in me (LOL) and I love the game of golf.

I would love to test this driver for Golfspy!

I just bought the hl irons so this would be great as I have a low launch and need a 12 degree driver

Awesome opportunity for 3 people. I played the Cleveland Classic and Classic XL for 4 years. Switching back and forth between the 2. Both are very nice and I had a lot of success with them. Good luck to all. I'm looking forward to seeing the reviews.

Cleveland Launcher HB Driver

With Your Choice of Premium Shaft

Do like your drivers long and beastly or straight and narrow? Do you like to fiddle with features or do you prefer grip it and rip it simple?

There are no wrong answers here, it's just a matter of what you value.

And if you value a driver with a yard-to-dollar ratio close to 1, you might just find value in the Cleveland Launcher HB.

There's a lot of 2008 in the new Cleveland Launcher HB - there's the name, of course, and the updated HiBore crown. There's no adjustable hosel, and a $299 price tag that will make you feel young again.

The Launcher HB was a solid performer in this year's Most Wanted Testing, finishing in the top half of the pack, only 3 yards behind the PING G400 LST but with a 25% lower sticker price. That's how the off-the-rack model performer for us, but we'd like to see how a customized model works for you.

We want THREE avid golfers to test, review and keep the Cleveland Launcher HB equipped with YOUR CHOICE of any premium shaft in the Cleveland catalog (click here to see the lineup).

How To Apply:

All applications must be made in this thread, so please follow the instructions carefully.

Please tell us the following:

Your first name and your home state/province

Your current driver/shaft combination

Your driver swing speed/carry distance

Your current handicap

Thanks for applying! We'll announce the testers in this thread next week - Good Luck!

Steve, from Florida.
Currently using an XR16 driver with a "regular" Project X shaft.
Swing speed is about 100.  Carry is about 225.
Handicap is 12.

Thanks for the chance!   I'm a lefty, and it's hard to find test clubs at the pro shops, so this would be great.

Always curious to know what's out there. Due to the weather here in the midwest haven't gotten a chance to do a whole lot this season.
