josmi15
I have yet found a time to watch this show, but I'll also voice how much I miss big break My family watched that with me the all ladies season. It helped that one of the ladies went to high school at a school my kids may go to. My daughters were excited about that. Rickp
Has anyone else checked out shotmakers on the golf channel? It's a reality golf show that takes place at Top Golf in Vegas, 2 person teams compete against each other collecting points for called shots into specific targets that ultimately lead to an elimination round at the end of the episode. I've watched the first 2 episodes and as excited as I was for this to come on I'm not impressed. Anyone else check this out and have any feedback? I really wanted to love this. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy I watched a little bit of it and frankly can't get into it. Not particularly exciting. Bmasterson78
I do not have golf channel so I have not seen the show. Only seen clips from twitter. I do have a couple question about it. Are they required to draw or cut the ball into these targets? Or is it just hit it at the targets? And also a lot of the clips I have seen are the contestants just hitting it to the end of the range. Is that one of the challenges? I dare not share them here because I like you guys and you don't deserve that pain. #Shotmakers on Twitter is a hilarious read. It's GC and Top Golf blinds promos about how "great" the show is mixed in with a sea of regular folks poking fun. One of the better ones said "live look at tryouts for #Shotmakers season 2" and it showed a video of a kid falling over when he swung. MGS being MGS, they put out a post asking to bring Big Break back. Timing is everything! I loved that show and only carried Golf Channel to watch that. Once it was cancelled, I had no incentive to keep GC. They hit to the end of the range because it is the easiest way to get the points. In some shows they have made them hit towards particular targets and even particular portions of the target. From what everyone is saying going to your local range and sitting on a bench watching people hit range balls would be equally entertaining. I admit that I have the show on and watch most of it. The production isn't that great, seems artificial, and it is like watching a group of people have a competition at top golf. But most television is bad and there isnt anything I would watch on any another channel at the same time. It is what it is and I was not expecting riveting television when it started. 1 Quote Driver: G400 Max 9* w/ KBS Tour Driven Fairway: TS3 15* w/Project X Hzardous Smoke Hybrids: 915H 21* w/KBS Tour Graphite Hybrid Prototype 915H 24* w/KBS Tour Graphite Hybrid Prototype Irons: TR20V 6-11 w/Vizard TR20-85 Graphite Wedge: 54/12D, 60/8M w/:Accra iWedge 90 Graphite Putter: mFGP2 Backups: TM-180, Milled Collection RSX 2, Bellum Winmore 787, Directed Force 2.1 Member: MGS Hitsquad since 2017

MGoBlue100
I totally agree! The Big Break was awesome! I watched it religiously! They need to bring it back! Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy Quite a few REALLY good players came through Big Break: Tommy Gainey, Matt Every, Tony Finau & Wesley Bryan on the men's side. I think Ryann O'Toole was on one season, and she's been solid on the LPGA Tour. Played in at least one Soleheim Cup, I believe. Bring Back Big Break! downlowkey
I played my first TopGolf Denver league game last night. We are playing in the 2-person team format. Hopefully we will eventually work our way to the finals in Vegas. At which point you can all tune in and comment on my awful swing, painstaking pre-shot routine, how much fatter I look on television, etc. Hurricane force wind gusts out of the left made for some comical alignment adjustments yesterday. I'll try to remember to take some video next week.
