Look at the sheer joy on that man's face. I'm not gonna lie, I got a little misty watching him do a lap with the cup. It was really great to see so many Caps fans in the arena rocking the red.

This is the first time I've seen any of my teams win a championship. It's a really weird feeling... I've just always been used to heartache.

This. Is awesome.

I'm happier for the players than myself....they look so happy....and that makes me happy. They're all having a tough time getting through their interviews without crying lol.

LET'S GO CAPS! WOO!!!!!!!

Right there with you. 28 years here without a Championship of any kind to celebrate.

From the moment these guys went down 2-0 to Columbus in the first round, they said "0h, he'll no!!! This ain't happening again"

My only regret is I won't be at the course tomorrow to celebrate with my boss who is a longtime dedicated fan. And of course to see the Penquin fans reactions!

Once my team didn't make the playoffs I wasn't worried who won but Vegar or W

The Caps would have made me happy but I've become an Ovi fan over the years so nice to see him get one and how excited he was, was awesome

Congrats to the Caps I never thought Ovi would win one I just felt that he tried too hard to carry the team by himself. He finally got the right coach and the right team around him. Heck Holtby can carry a team on his shoulders congrats again

Yes sir baby!  Caps are finally Stanley Cup Champions!  I will forever remember this year, as I've been a fan of the Caps since I was 6 years old in the old Caps Arena in Landover, MD.  (yes I'm old 1977 was my first hockey game!)

I have a jersey that was signed by Ovi this year .... the Stanley Cup year of 2018 will be forever etched in my mind!

Clearly some very dedicated hockey fans here. I have been both a fan and player since growing up in Philadelphia in the 1970's and watching the Broad Street Bullies! The same thing happened in Philadelphia after the Flyers first Cup win. The entire city came out and celebrated the champions. It's funny, a lot of people I speak with don't know hockey, and don't realize how difficult the Stanley Cup is to win. It takes 16 wins out of a possible 28 games. That is almost another 1/4 of a season! I realize baseball has similar 7 game series, but there is very little body contact in baseball. I am looking forward to attending an upcoming Washington Capitals Alumni Association fundraiser and am hoping there might be a visit from a 35 pound, 3 foot that special guest. Will include any pics I get shortly after the event...
