They caught my eye when I had a look at the Wilson Staff gear during the Masters competition. Forged with tech sounds good.

I'll have to give them a whirl at the PGATSS. I own both the C200's and F5's, both of W/S's "C" sticks from a couple years back, and love gaming both.

What's in My Bag?

Driver: Cobra F6

Fairway: Cobra F6 3/4

Hybrids: Wilson Staff D100ES (4 & 5)

Irons: Wilson Staff C200 (6i to GW)

So I was finally able to hit them today on a local par three course and the maiden voyage was a great one. The feel is very similar to any forged iron and feels great with a pretty muted sound. No clicks here. I play a Wilson DUO and the combo with those balls and the C300s feels so soft. Distance maybe a tad longer than my previous set (Nike VR Pro Combos) but that mostly likely due to a stronger loft, though they are pretty standard lofts comparing to modern clubs, PW is *45.

The biggest difference I saw was the longer irons. I went to a range after and wow.... Flex face, power holes, who knows.. but the longer irons were so easy to launch. I striped about 8 4 irons in a row that felt very effortless and easy, and the best part is they look great at address! So far they are checking all the boxes. My MEVO arrives on Tuesday so I'll be able to get more numbers then. Also I got these wedges from a friend today and they are fantastic.

Wilson irons have always looked good when I see them on the tour, then I try the local pro's to try them and they dont stock them. Pity as they look good and any iron that has won more majors than any other manufacturer deserves a look. hopefully I can find someone who has them them to trial this year.

As the consideration for irons continues into 2018, I must say that I want to give some Wilson irons a hit. Seeing these really isn't helping that urge! Cheers OP..

The only downside I've seen before is limited stock shafts, yet still a high price in the UK. That or I'm looking in the wrong places..
