JRSD
QUESTION: Bassara or Graphite Design? Aftermarket of course. A shop up north of Austin has lefties Tour Exotics but they have the Bassara 42g lite installed. I have had to go to senior or regular flex since retiring from the Military with an injury. Left shoulder at that. I have always had a smooth rather than hard swing. 80-88 depends on pain level that day. Would it be worth the purchase of a driver and 3 wood with those shafts. Near new but in used section. Thanks for advice and help.

GolfSpy_APH
The jpx ex forged are my brothers and for my i210 testing I wanted to give them a forged iron to go head to head against. With the jpx considered a game improvement iron I found a ton of similarities in terms of distances, forgiveness, sound and feel. However the i210 just look so much better behind the ball and not nearly as clunky or thick as the jpx. My brother loves the jpx and Ive had them for a few rounds and loved the performance but really couldn't stand the look at address. They look stellar from behind and even the sole looks thinnish, but the top just throws me for a loop and even the wedge looks like it has significant offset. JRSD
Gents, appreciate the advice. I guess being told your left handed and we don’t have a very big selection for you to demo so many times. I guess you get the “numb no’s”. I seriously doubt they would swap out shafts of a club for sale. Or demo shafts tipped for TE. Either way worth a shot. Hit a F8+ with Hzrdus 5.5 (Yellow). Long club. Happy Range, course time if you get it. Texas went from drought to flooding creeks, reservoirs, lakes and Dams near peak stage levels in 2 months. Courses look great with no one on them to ruin fairways or greens.
TheWahoo
I have been casually watching the current Driver vs Driver on TGC. I say casually because I DVR it and fast forward through much of it. On the last episode, they had attendees at the PGA show demo the drivers. While I understand it, never the less, there was not one lefty that demoed. None of the prototypes were made in a left handed model. But that's life in golf for a lefty. Make and distribute right handed equipment then accommodate the lefties, we have no need for their development input. Again, I understand why, but it shows us lefties our position in the golf equipment world.
JRSD
Although I don’t watch cable TV. MGS is one of major golf world sources. It won’t be in our time but somewhere down the line a true left handed or more hopefully will change OEMs need to produce full range of golf equipment. Yes we love Phil. But he is right handed playing lefty in the back end of his career. Jordan Spieth is lefty playing right handed. No need to change for him. Mike Wier was a short stint in lime light. Enough of a rant. I sent a similar comment, article request to MGS writer JB. He has since forwarded it to MGS editor and owners for further research. Let’s hope we get included in further testing somewhere down the road. JohnSmalls and tony@CIC
Kor.A.Door
OEM’s will always cater to the right handed golfer, demos, mostly right handed, there are very few that give Lefty equipment in all the ranges of their equipment. Right handed golf era will not ever understand, because everything they may want, they can get. Like oooh, that’s a nice putter, where do I find it, everywhere. As a Lefty, oooh that’s a nice putter, sorry, RH only. It’s the same with many clubs not just putters. We just have to figure out who makes equipment for us and who doesn’t, I try not to purchase clubs where an OEM only makes few LH clubs, if a company makes and offers a wide variety in Lefty selection, that’s who I want to support, the more we buy from them, the more they will continue to make it. JRSD
I am not a big box store advocate. Sure I test, or look for off season sales. But when it comes to upgrading or trading in. I go with smaller shops that remember who I am, left handed and loyal buyer. GolfSpy_APH and tony@CIC
GolfSpy_APH
How about a lefty classifieds section? LeftyHawk
I have to agree with most everybody here when it comes to buying equipment. I'm searching to replace my outdated irons and no one within 50 miles of has any lefty demo clubs. I've resorted to buying models (Ping primarily, 7 irons) that may interest me thru Ebay. On the plus side, I get a much better trial period than just at the range. and lefty clubs, if you are patient can be easy on the wallet. Chris tony@CIC 1 Quote Far and Sure......
