Seems pointless.  Why are the mats different for RH or LH?  Our local driving range has mats that don't require moving.

One can see that the material of the mat differs. Where you place and hit the ball the texture is softer than where you stand. Basically, two kind of mats in one frame. Quite common in Germany.

Your very observant. Yes there were two different "levels" or types of material on this mat. A righty would have had to flip the entire mat around to use it. My "normal" driving range uses a one level mat and you just move the rubber tee to the other side.

Or when you go to the hitting bag at GG or something, and it takes them10 minutes to switch it around so you can hit a ball. I don’t know why they don’t just set up a lefty bay and leave it.

That's the way it is here too, but we only have one dedicated driving range.  All driving ranges at courses are grass now.  In the fall my course will put out mats through the winter, but the are for irons only (no tee holes).  We can still tee it up on the grass between mats.

There's a brand new... Well never been used prior year model...Toulon Atlanta at the woodlands, TX PGA SS for $199. 35". SS GT tour grip. I had to pass to keep the pregnant wife from cutting off my manhood. Any putter hoes out there need a Toulon?

Just did my fitting to get a shaft, length/lie combo for the D7s.  Only a matter of time before testing begins.  What's new on the right side of the ball??

I've hit those supports with a just delivered Cleveland Launcher TI 3w quite a few years ago.  First full swing hit the support and made a dent on the top of the crown!   I was not happy that day, but I still have it in the back up of the backup bag

Any lefties want to buy everything I own. What a horrible day at the course today. Played in the club championship and had no idea where the ball was going from one swing to the next. To make matters worse I couldn’t get any putts to fall to help out my score. 88. Not in the DFL position but It felt like it. So I figure I would get rid of everything so I am not tempted to play anymore. . Just venting some lefty frustration

Tempting. And it was not a bounce back day. It went from bad to worse real quick. I felt like I had no idea where the ball was going. I couldn’t hit a solid shot for almost the entire day. Finally on hole 14 I figured out how to hit a golf ball, but I was already 16 over by that point. It was not a good day from a golf standpoint. I will be taking a short break to recoup from so many tournament rounds. So no golf until Aug 8 or so.

Tempting. And it was not a bounce back day. It went from bad to worse real quick. I felt like I had no idea where the ball was going. I couldn’t hit a solid shot for almost the entire day. I've found that when everything turns to cr*p I take a few days off from golf. Otherwise I'm just repeating the problems the next day.

Didn't take a swing in about a week and a half and went out and played the best golf I ever have.   If only that time away wasn't so excruciating...

I know how you feel. It was only one day and I bet you'll bounce back the next outing. I've played great one week during league the next I'm wondering if I should just quit golf and join a competitive knitting team....it's golf...it's hard...if we played it well every week, we'd be on the tour;). Shake it off, forget it and enjoy the next round

I had planned to take 2 weeks off after the club championship, so this just solidified this decision. I have been playing a lot of “tournament” type golf lately and all of that grinding during the rounds finally took its toll I think. Mentally tired from it. So I’ll take 13 days off or so without swinging a club to sort of reset.

1st 4 pics: Forsgate CC, NJ. Palmer CourseTrust me it did not look like the pic. I bring my dlsr on courses sometimes and edit/clean them up/pop them at home after. Roughly speaking yes that is the course but for instance there were tree fallings all over. We even had a team with a wood chipper on 1 hole and couldn’t hear a thing.

 

Next 4 were Manasquan River CC. No dlsr. Just phone pics.

 

Next 2 were Beaver Creak GC.

 

The last pic was Ridgewood CC (where they have Northern Trust. Rotated every 3 years to here). Phone pic. Clubhouse in background.

The prices were good but not great. Everything about two years old but tons of golf balls and hats and shirts. Every club is lefty. I need to take my wife to show her how bad it could be.
