Fieldrj
I'm a lefty, but sometimes i'm a righty. All my life I have played baseball lefty, Lacrosse Lefty, left footed in soccer, left hockey stick, lefty golf clubs too. However, i'm right eye dominant when it comes to shooting, and i write right handed. In High school my buddy and i were evenly matched playing ping pong, he was righty, I was lefty, so we decided to switch. Now i am an ambidextrous ping pong player. Right is still weaker than left, but i can hold my own. When it comes to golfing, i have a hard time seeing the line on the green, behind the ball is fine, but over the ball looks like im way offline. I am debating getting a right handed putter to putt with a left handed grip, in order for my dominant eye to see the line better. Has anyone tried this before? 3 Quote G410 9* Evenflow Black 75 6.0 G410 3W Evenflow Black 85 6.0 G400 5W, 4H Alta CB S Mavrik Pro 5-AW TT Elevate 95 S SM6 54S, 58S Lab Works 7s ProV1

I find myself in a similar situation as I, too, am right eye dominant and throw righty (interesting that you are left footed). I have a right handed putter and have very limited experience on the golf course. But am okay with it on a practice green. I'll be fine if I had to putt righty, I just find it more comfortable to putt lefty. If I remember correctly, @GolfSpy MPR did an experiment but the other way around (he secretly wants to be a lefty). The results of his experiment led him back to putting righty. 3 Quote SkyCaddie SX400 Gameday OGIO Silencer: Followed by Arccos King F9, Atmos TS Blue Mavrik 3w, Evenflow Riptide Covert 2.0 5W, 3H, Kuro Kage Black Wilson D7 Irons 4-GW, Dynamic Gold AMT Glide 52, 56 ES ER2 -ProV1x (left dash) Romans 10:9 Classic Bag Jones Collegiate Clemson Stand Bag Eye 2 Laminate, 1,3,5,7 1973 Staff Dynapower 4-PW Original Anser DUO

Yes, I did play with this for a little bit. When I address a putt from the right side, the correct line (determined with a laser) looks significantly left of the hole to me. I've found that my natural tendency is to aim my putter about 2° to the right of the correct line, and then "fix" it at impact so that I actually do roll the ball on the correct line. If I address putts from the left side, the correct line looks correct. So I did get a left-handed putter. Perhaps with a lot of practice, it would work, but the reality is that I simply lack the coordination to putt left-handed. Speed control was an absolute mess, even on indoor putts (no more than 10'). So after a little experiment, I went back to the right side of the ball pretty quickly. I am intrigued by the vision disparity between the two sides, but even with my (known) aim "error," my putting is (statistically) very solid. For me, predictability and results trump being "correct," at least when it comes to golf. 5 Quote TS3 Mavrik Sub Zero 15°, Aldila Rogue White 130 MSI 70 S F6 5-6W, 18.5°, Fujikura Motore 6.3 XR Pro 20°, Project X 75 Black HYB S CBX Iron-Wood 22°, Project X HZRDUS Black 6.0 85g 699 Pro, Modus3 105, 6–PW Forged Black 50°, 54°, and 58° EAS 4.0 TP5x Full WITB with pictures

I play ball lefty but play hockey righty. I’m doing the super speed training and it honestly does not feel as awkward as I thought it might have.. Kor.A.Door
Fellas. I got to go play at Tobacco Road this past weekend June 13. I’m not sure if any of you have played there or no. We played the Disk tees. The wind was blowing really hard and we weren’t sure about tipping it out so we moved up one. I played the best golf that I have played in a very, very long time. Par 71, 71.3/143 from the disk tees. I shot 69. -2 and it was so much fun. As a 5.0 handicap player I don’t shoot par or under par pretty much ever. I shot 36 on the front +1 and then 33 On the back -3. I had 5 birdies on the day. It felt so good to play that well finally. To have this round on a golf course such as Tobacco Road is so amazing. I hesitated to say anything but it was so much fun I thought I would share with my fellow lefties here. Here are a couple pics of the course. Waste areas everywhere and multiple blind shots all over the course 3 1 Quote Lefties are always in their Right Mind

Gurra
Half an hour before I was heading out for a round yesterday I got a call that my new forge tec irons arrived! So of course those came along with me for the round. I do love how they feel and how they perform. Even first round out they worked like a charm! Unfortunately not much else worked for me.. It was a late round so the roll on the greens were horrible and a lot slower then normal but after a few holes the putter worked as well. But the big stick went left, way left.. probably more left then I have ever hit that club before and that was with me for 4 holes before I put that back in the bag for the rest of the round.. Wedges, bunkers and chips all went down the toilet so a horrible score.. But super happy that my irons worked so well after 20min warm up with them!

I've played it over a dozen times and my first round there is still the best score I've had there. I think there is something to going into that course ans not overthinking it. It's a pretty simple target course with lots of room for error. It's just that it visually can get you trying to think your way around it at times. Versus just picking your spot and putting a good swing on it . Such a fun course to play. 2 Quote TSR2 10.0 HZRDUS Red CB 6.0 TSiR2 10.0 Tensei Blue X ink 55g TSR2 16.5 PX Evenflow 5.5 60 g TSi1 20 and 23 degree hybrids Aldila Ascent Shafts R T200 5-GW SteelFiber I80 SM8 48F/54/58 D Grinds Select 5.5 Flowback 35" ProV1X Play number
