Interesting new PGA tag line that doesn't do much for me. Does anyone else think that the PGA folks got sold a bill of goods.

Yeah. Golf in general has an image problem, and it really seems like the various entities are trying too hard (shotmakers, anyone?) to enlarge their purviews. And, as all the kids know- there's nothing less cool than trying to be cool.

I'd prefer: “Shoot the F****** Lights Out!” Followed by balls going in the cup from everywhere. Fist pumps and high fives galore. Hope that's what we see in N'awlins this weekend.

Yeah it definitely doesn't do anything for me. I loved “These guys are good” though. I think a small update on that and some adds with the trick shot guys like Bryan would have been cool.

I get it but I think to the non golfer general public it may have a negative connotation, I think it won't last and I'm not a fan.

Exactly. If par implies average, then why would I want to live below average? Terrible tag line.
