Short game strengths are full wedge shots, pitch shots from 50 yards and in, bump and runs,

Weaknesses are long bunker shots and flop shots

Current handicap is 6.6

Current wedges: Hopkins 60 deg, Mizuno S-5 56 deg, Cobra Fly-Z gap wedge 52 deg.

Short game is my all-around strength.  Can get up and down from almost anywhere.  The only weakness is getting a flippy on some tense, touchy shots.
 

Current handicap: 5

 

I could give these a good test because I spend about 85% of my practice/teaching time on short game.

Ryan... sunny Florida (west coast).

 

Currently gaming 53* and 58* Hopkins CJ-1s.

 

I'd say my strengths are low biting pitches inside 20yds. I enjoy attempting to fly it close. Not great at the bump & run shots. I practice the high/soft shots a lot... but default to my low shots on the course. I'd like to change that.

I'm NEVER in bunkers so sandies aren't something I'll be able to test... Haha. I struggle with my distance control between 110-125. I seem to err on whichever side (long or short) is the most punishing.... over cooking it less than scooping it and being short.

Hogan TK

Good Distance Control and I can hit it high with lots of spin / 10-20 feet off line at least 50% of the time, when I make a mistake it is short and spins back off the green.
