TESTERS Announced (Again): Ben Hogan Equalizer Wedges

Recommended Posts

Scott from Minnesota here. I have a mix of wedges- Wilson Staff FG Tour V4 PW and GW (from my iron set) and a Mizuno S18 56 degree SW. My strengths with my wedges- good distance control and trajectory for pitch shots and I can create decent spin to stop my shots. My weaknesses (just to pick a few of the many) - full shot ballooning, duffs with short chips and no flop shot ability. My handicap index is 11.2

Joel Smith, New Jersey

Currently gaming a SM6 60deg as well as the Taylormade R9 55deg and 50deg

My short game strengths revolve around soft touch shots from about 20yds and in. Currently working to improve bump and run and dialing in landing zone distances.

Handicap: 18

Happily a bargain hunter when it comes to clubs:

Troy from Tobiano British Columbia Canada

Wedge play is the weakest part of my game and I am looking for a sole grind with good turf interaction, especially from tight lies

I currently play Bridgestone J15 wedges 50, 54 and 60 degree

I am a 13 handicap
