mcmarsico
Matt, GA Vokey SM6 in 46(F), 50(F), 54(M), and 58(K) My wedge game is one of my strengths. I use a lot of variety of shots, am comfortable with flighting wedges, and trust my ability to get up and down to save a few holes per round. If I were to pick the weakest part of my short game it is my sand play, but that is only in comparison to the rest of my short game. I still trust my ability to get up and down from green side bunkers. 4.7 Driver: TS3, 9* (C1 setting, surefit cartridge in fade setting) 3/4 Wood: 917D2, 16.5 degrees (D1 setting, surefit cartridge neutral) Hybrid: Titleist 818 H2, 19 degrees (C3 setting, surefit cartridge neutral) Irons: Mizuno MP-18 MMC Fli-Hi 4-Iron (23 degrees); Mizuno MP-18 SC 5-iron(26) and 6-iron(30); Mizuno MP-18 7-iron(34), 8-iron(38), 9-iron(42), and P Wedge(46). jhellrung
First name/Home state or province - Joe, Georgia Current wedges - Titleist SM6 48, 52, 56, 60 Short game strengths/weaknesses - I like my golf game like my eggs - scrambled! My short game is the strongest, most consistent part of my game. I have a well established "go-to" shot from the fairway, rough, skirt, and sand, which I further modify depending on where the pin lies in relation to the green and ball, and the elevation I have to work with. I can hit a consistent runner, flop, or medium shot. Also, it may be worth noting that my current irons are Hogan Ft. Worth. Weaknesses Modified or truncated swings, 80yrds to 35ish. the yips the hips and the blips. for some reason, I get the old Fozzie Bear legs (wocka, wocka, wocka)!! current Index is 8.2 making me a 10 Home. mcadle
Please include me as a tester for these beautiful wedges. I am currently in the market for a new set of 3 wedges ... First name/Home state or province - Michael in Virginia Current wedges - A set of 3 wedges from Scorgolf with lofts of 51, 55 and 59. Purchased some years ago after the test results on MyGolfSpy Short game strengths/weaknesses - Probably the best part of my game. Often able to get up and down for par from 25 yards and in. Need the right combination of wedges with the proper bounce to help me in greenside bunkers having lots of fluffy sand. You wouldn't know it if you played with me yesterday having two back to back sand saves Current handicap - 5.7 Thanks for the opportunity, looking forward to getting these wedges in my hands ... Severtheties
- Jason, OH - Mizuno GAP which came with the JPX 900 forged and a 58* Edel wedge. I like the Edel but have been searching for a ~56* wedge to fill the gap and have been unable to find that so this is intriguing as I'd prefer a set. - Good with chipping and out of greens, however, struggle with intermediate and long wedge shots. Have been searching for a set of wedges that allow for any and all shots. - 15 Driver - Tour Edge Exotics XCG 7 Beta w/ Paderson shaft 44" Fairway Metal - Vapor Fly 15* w/ Mitsubishi Tensei CK Blue 65F 43" Irons - SLDR 4i-pw w/ KBS Tour C-Taper 90S Wedges - 54* and 58* Digger grind Putter - 2015 GoLo 3 33"
