Probably not as long as that occasional monster from the epic. But I'll gladly give up that 5 or 10 yards-2 or 3 times a round, to be smack dab in the middle....again!...... Distance averaged around 265, with most plugging, or at least making massive holes in the fairway. Swing changes have helped me, but when the misses are finding the fairways as well, you've found a winner. It measures 374 on the card but the tees were up a bit. Teed it up a little higher because of the tailwind and sent it. Rolled up next to the guy in front of us when he was putting. I think I was more surprised than he was. I was just trying to get someone else to guess it. Just thought the shaft choice was interesting since you picked up the Alta CB shaft separate from the test so you could test the 2 primary shaft offerings in addition to the driver itself. These would be the two engines talked about in Stage 1. Summer 2016 - the Callaway FT Tour I played (and adored) for 6 years exploded during a range session. I immediately purchased an identical replacement but we never developed the same kind of chemistry. My next prom date was a '16 Tmag M1 430 which, to be honest, was purchased on a frustrated whim (at a great price). Immediately after completing my online purchase I started researching the head (I know... asinine order of operations) and stumbled onto MyGolfSpy. Over the next 18 months, I tried 4 different shafts with the M1 trying to dial in the right launch window and eventually got it right, but the dispersion on mishits was a tough pill to swallow. Back to both the present and your point on my relatively ancient wrenches - yes, in my bag an official gamer is essentially a tenure-track. Open positions are rare and employment is typically only offered after a lengthy interview process and careful deliberation... or in the unusual case outlined above, scrambling to find a replacement for a suicidal FT Tour. While the saga of my beloved FT Tour initially presented as a tragedy, the updated story line undeniably shifted toward comedy because it led me here and provided an introduction to my new skipper. But that's all the spoilers you guys get until Stage 2 drops. My hole 6 tee shots ended up within 1 foot of each other.
