PMookie
. You keep referring to "down here" - where is down here? The Deep South. Louisiana. Get ready to have 5-6 gloves in rotation each round, shirt soaked through by the third hole, refilling water every chance one gets, sweat dripping in the eyes as the band in one's hat is soaked, and sweat flying off the forearms on each swing. 95* with a heat index of 105* and the harshest humidity in the States. PMookie
. Calm down, kid. Yeah, y'alls humidity it pretty high, seen it about as high in Florida, and I've lived in other states that get a lot hotter than you've ever seen. So don't be acting like you've got the market cornered on hot weather. Just checking that you're not in one of those states where it's only sorta hot. Really?! “Calm down kid.â€Wow. HenryCanDrive
Pants for me. If I wore shorts, the cart girls would never get around since they would want to hang around me and my sexy legs 🤣. Pants offer protection against sunburn and thickets when looking for my ball in the woods also I like the style. I do have golf shorts, but strangely enough only tend to wear them out with friends or dinner, just never in the course. MDGolfHacker MDGolfHacker same here! I'm always in the woods getting my ball so I need the protection. I bought under armour match play pants in 5 colors. I also can't stand the sight of grown men's legs. perseveringgolfer
during a hot spell here once when it was in the high 80's (yes it can happen) a course I went to gave me into trouble for arriving without a jacket on, then when I asked about wearing shorts they said that was ok as long as they were knee length shorts and I wore knee length socks. Needless to say I never went back. Some courses here are very snobby which is a shame. However we have a lot of choice and our (pantless) legs do the talking, by walking.
