Best golf glove?

I've been having an issue lately with blowing gloves out after a round or two. Anyone else experience this? Whats your expectation of life for a glove? Recommendations for a hard wearing option?

That's just s couple rounds?? What glove is that, I'll make sure I never buy that brand.

 

I expect a good glove to last for a while, 7-8 full rounds. I will rotate 3-4 gloves in the summer with the humidity here in Upstate SC, but those 3-4 will last all summer into winter Golf.

 

As a Lefty it's hard to find gloves anyway, but I've had good luck with the Bridgestone E series. Also the Callaway Big bertha glove.

 

Also, have you tried a larger size? It seems that a blowout of that fashion could come from the glove being overly tight.

You are gripping the club incorrectly if you are blowing out the glove. Put the grip more across your fingers than against the palm.

 

And try Bionic gloves.

 

My gloves routinely last me 20+ rounds.

MG gloves last me like 2 months playing at least once a week. Tropical weather and sweaty hands and they hold up well. The only deal I've seen that's better in terms of price, is the 4 pack of Callaway gloves from Costco. I like the MG better because it's thinner and not much more expensive.

Yeah I think the problem is the butt of the grip sits right on the “hypothenar eminence” (thanks google) and ends up rubbing a hole.

 

This is a Taylormade glove, about $20 and I had the exact same thing happen with a Callaway. The nice foot Joy glove I have now lasted about 5 and instead of a big tear, it wore a hole.

 

I had the hole issue happen once on a footjoy first round, took it back and got it replaced. The replacement (same glove) lasted 10+ 🤷🏻‍♂️

 

I will try a larger size and also check out some of the suggestions. Thanks team!!

As far as larger, you still want it to fit snug. The leather will stretch as you wear it. If the next soze up is loose then it's not the tip size, it could've be as Fox said, the grip in the wrong spot in the hands.

Do you hit a lot of range balls, 2 buckets of balls is about 3-4 rounds of golf. usually if I wear a hole it's from hitting the range. I usually use an older glove on the range, I will only use new gloves during an actual round.

Big for them. Wear like iron but very soft and pliable - in fact the more you wear them the better they feel. I get mine from www.zeit4golf.com. Another source for kangaroo leather gloves is Kakado which is located in Australia. They're less expensive than the Hirzl. They're is only an less than 10. Shipping charge to the states.

I'm a big fan of the Bionic gloves also. I've had one for 3 seasons now that I swap out every couple of rounds with a Nike and it still fits and feels great.

I tend to blow gloves out also, not as bad but definitely wearing a hole in the same spot... Try snake eyes gloves

I'm an MG man. They have two all leather models that are top quality. I prefer the Elite model $6.99 over the base DynaGrip $5.99. The Elite is thinner where the DynaGrip is thicker. Either way I've personally found nothing better. They're both outstanding gloves and value.

I play 99% of my golf in a dry climate so I get several months wear out of a glove.

 

And while you're at it buy a dozen of their MG Tour C4. $19.99.  I play them all the time. Great tour quality ball.
