Deciding it was time to retire my 12 year old Cleveland's, I purchased the 56 degree MD4 3 weeks ago. I've been practicing religiously with it ever since, and loved it so much I pulled the trigger on a 52 degree. Tomorrow morning should be a fun practice session.

I got to hit them at a recent demo event. I didn't want to stop hitting them. They are so easy to hit. And i love the Red Alien eyes much better than the green.

If i hadn't just bought SM7 two weeks prior, a set of 3 would be in my bag as we speak.

They look fantastic. I had an MD3 I never got along with, but that was most definitely more on me than it was the club.

I agree with you on the colors 100% . I am a huge fan of the milling on the back also. I just bought a black I works 7S also and the milling is the same so that's another added bonus. But the looks are my second favorite part of the club. My first is how it looks down by the ball. When I bought the 56, I had an sm7, a ping glide 2.0, and a MD4 all in my hand at the store. I was comparing how they looked when I was setting up, how they looked with closed and opened faces, adding bounce, and how they naturally sat before I even setup a grip. To me it was an easy choice at that point. The MD4 looked best sitting down by the ball every time. I prefer a nice clean and square leading edge when I setup to the ball more than a rounded heavy curve. Every time I set down the MD4, it squared up with the ball so much better to my eye than any other wedge. That's what Sold me on it.

Good stuff. They are definitely great looking wedges and performed very well during my short demo with them.

I get what you mean about how you have to like the look of them addressing the ball and feel confident with opening the face and all.

I'm all for a great deal or bargain. Alongside my md4's , I found a set of ping glide wedges that had maybe been used a half season at most. All 3 for $90 (50,56,60) and I have to admit they are a close second. Main reason I bought them was all 3 had brand new Golf Pride MCC plus 4 midsize grips, extended shafts (which I just recently found out was a stock thing on the glide 1.0's to promote choking up on the grip), and a 1 up shaft lie which is exactly how my MD4's are

I've had my MD4s (52, 56, 60) since the end of Feb.  I absolutely love them! BUT they have caused a problem for me.  I've been gaming ProV1 for quite a while but now I'm actually looking for a ball with less spin off the wedges.  I'm trying the new AVX ball and the DUO Soft Spin.  I can't control the spin on the ProV1s anymore.  I hit a 52* wedge from about 105 yds, hit about 6 inches right of the pin and spun back about 15 feet.  I prefer a wedge shot that stops within about 1-2 feet of where it hits the green, it just works better for my game.

So my only problem is they spin too much? If that really is even a problem?

Hybrid: :taylormade-small: M4 Rescue 19* Fujikura Atmos Red Reg
Irons: :taylormade-small: M3 4-PW KBS Tour 90 Reg
Wedges: :callaway-small: MD4 Chrome 52,56,60 True Temper Dynamic Gold Tour Issue (red)
Putter: :taylormade-small: Ghost Black Daytona
Ball: Currently testing.  Usually game :titelist-small: ProV1 but like the new :titelist-small: AVX better.  Also testing :wilson_staff_small: DUO Soft Spin (looks VERY promising)
