How do you record your swing?

Great thread. I really enjoyed reading the posts and the different ways you could record your swing.

Some really imaginative people in this group.

I have my 8 year old daughter record for me, the play by play she says is priceless. I use the Hudl Technique app. Has a great slow motion and you can draw in lines for swing plane etc.

I've never recorded my swing. Not sure what I would use the video for. I'm not good enough to say this is exactly what i need to do or not do.

If I was to attempt to record my swing, what aspects of it should I record? What angles and views?

 

I think it would be valuable to have it along the plane of my shoulders for some shots to see how I'm lining up. And along the line to see how bad my outside in swing really is. But how high should the camera be for these? And what other angles can I get more data from?

 

And how do avoid having it used as part of a blackmail scheme? 8=)

Next time I use it I will try the slow motion mode for golf swings as I'm betting you can see ball flight etc. better. 

 

I love it and will be using it when my son graduates from training at Ft Benning.
