LPGA Announces First Official Team Event in its History!

Commissionser Michael Whan and the LPGA announced today the first official team event in LPGA history. 

The new Dow Great Lakes Bay Invitational will be held at the Midland Country Club, in Midland, Michigan.

LPGA commish has been doing a great job at trying to grow the game and has done some great work for LPGA. This should be fun

Very nice - not only a new event but also a new sponsor. It is a shame however that the total purse is only $2MM. That's almost the same as the top finisher gets at the Players.

Is their a LPGA Players? Would be really interesting to see. Especially if that could get it to a similar purse to the Men
