Edel variable length irons

I was curious if anyone could give me any input on their variable length irons. I see many review on putters and wedges but very little on irons. I have gamed their wedges for many years.

 

Curious about is these are soft or hard feeling. If it is more players cavity or game improvement cavity. Closest fitting center is 6 hours away and they only sell edel irons and charge for fitting. So just really looking for feedback before I make the plunge to drive there.

 

Currently gaming mp 52s and about a 4 handicapt.

I'm guessing not alot of people have tried these from the lack or response. Maybe better off going to a fitter with many head options.

Two guys I know have them, but they are in the biz and know Dave Edel personally so that probably makes it easier to go through the fitting process. One loves them, the other is still a little unsure
