jb0330 261
So these just popped up in my feed and like every other golf company they are making some pretty big statements about their golf ball. Has anyone here tried them? https://www.cutgolfco.com/shop Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk Quote 2020 TESTER Ben Hogan UiHi 18* Utility Iron Driver: - Anser - 8.5* - Fujikara Red Blur 005 XStiff - Standard L/L 3W: - SQ Sumo - Mitsubishi Rayon Diamana Stiff - Standard L/L Hybrid 3: - Machspeed - UST Mamiya AXIVCore XStiff -Standard L/L Irons: - Idea Black CB3 4-GW - KBS Tour Stiff+ - Standard L/L Wedges: - Vokey 52*, 54*, 60* - True Temper Wedge - Standard L/L Putter: - Versa Blade - 35in Ball: NXT Tour Bag: - Ultra Light Cart Bag Loc: USA/MD Handicap:
jayjay0808 1,117
There is a pretty long thread in another section. tommc23 9,653
I like them both played both this past week and I posted in the other thread. The blue is a 4 piece and the white is a 3 piece. Both spin very well and work well around the green. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
tehuti 553
I bought their sampler pack a while back. One sleeve each of their Red, Whit Grey and Blue balls. I have heard good things about the Blue and Grey, so I decided to start at their low end and work my way up. The 2-piece surlyn Red was garbage. A rock I couldn't hit. The White ball is playable and I have yet to try the Blue and Grey. Waazzupppp 108
I just went all in on the Blue Ball for this season. Played a round with them and loved the distance, feel and performance. I previously have hit the Snell MTB, OnCore Elixr and Voce Pro+ as gamers and the Wilson Duo Spin as my "practice ball"... The Cut Blue out performed them all. I'm just worried about the covers, they did seem to stuff off my wedges pretty easily. 1 Quote In The Bag: Cortex Driver - 9° - Fujikura Atmos Tour Spec Black 7 X-Flex Shaft - Golf Pride Tour Velvet 360 Grip Staff Model Blades - 3-PW - KBS C-Taper 130 X Flex Shafts - Golf Pride Tour Velvet 360 Grip PMP RAW Wedges - 50°, 54° & 58° - KBS C-Taper 130 X Flex Shafts - Golf Pride Tour Velvet 360 Grip Tri-Hot #3 (2002) Putter - Super Stroke Flatso 2.0 Grip AVX Balls + Exo Bag + shoes
Mr. 82 3,858
The White ball is non-conforming, just FYI. I tried their trial pack and wasn't overly impressed as these balls seem to wear out faster than normal. Just my worthless two cents. Whenever I plow through the other 7+ dozen golf balls in the house I am leaning towards Snell. I like the price and the way Dean Snell does things. And his balls are just as good as a ProV1, et al. 2 Quote G400 Driver XR 4 Fairway 16.5° Fli-Hi Utility Iron - 21° G Series 5-9 irons SM7 46°, 50°, 54° & 58° Ghost Spider S putter Nexus Laser Rangefinder Garmin Approach S20 GPS

Yes!!!! That was my one complaint with the Blue, but the new cover seems to be a bit better, and I mean marginally at best. I figure of I get 18 holes out of a sleeve, I'm at virtually the same cost per ball as the Snell's (they have really gone up the last few seasons) or some of the other premium balls. I ended up paying just over $15 a dozen with the 10 dozen discount and my coupon code. That's like $1.25 a ball. I liked the lower flight pattern than the MTB Black and the other big boys. I do have a trial sleeve of the AVX from Titleist to run through as well, but the indoor numbers were pretty sad on them. Still have to get them out in the real world though. If I can save $10 a dozen (or whatever) for a ball that performs the same that seems to be something called common sense that is really hard to find these days. 1 Quote G400 Driver XR 4 Fairway 16.5° Fli-Hi Utility Iron - 21° G Series 5-9 irons SM7 46°, 50°, 54° & 58° Ghost Spider S putter Nexus Laser Rangefinder Garmin Approach S20 GPS
Kwoodfield 84
I definitely want to try the cut, vice, and smell golf balls this year. People have finally tried to compete with the big boys and it seems to be workingSent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy

I tried to play one of the new Cut Blue's last week and with one 58* full wedge shot on the first hole it literally peeled the cover off the ball. It was unplayable after 2 shots. Switched to Snell MTB Black and it didn't have a mark on it after 17 holes. This is using a SM7 that has well over 100 rounds on it so not an issue with new sharp grooves. Fwiw, I use the rest of the CUT Blue's for practice as I am staying on a par 5 and sometimes go out late and hit some full 150 yd 8 irons. After no more than 15 shots each, they look like I ran them thru a garbage disposal. TP5x is still my favorite but I also enjoy playing the Snell MTB Black. Not always of course but sometimes you get what you pay for. 1 Quote Driver: TaylorMade SIM Max ... Diamana Limited 55R Utility: Callaway Super Hybrid 17* ... Waazzupppp 108
The demo sleeve I had wasn't that bad, but durability is definitely a concern. I'll report back if/when they arrive.
