SWMBO is having family and friends over and they are watching it live from 9am till it finishes. In the US the biggest national event is the Super Bowl. That's an evening thing. Parties normally include beer or cocktails of some sort and food is most frequently buffet style grab it yourself stuff. So what will the day be like there? What will folks eat and drink? The pomp and ceromony will be huge with princess carriages, soldiers on horseback etc etc fairytale stuff its something positive in a difficult world these days. One of my parishioners went to England to watch with family. A number of my ladies told me it was beautiful so there was clearly interest here. Glad it went well - it's nice to see one's homeland be viewed in a positive light. We lost a student earlier in the year and I'm some sick of burying kids. I can't imagine 10-20 at once. I'll take "rich and famous" weddings over school shootings all day long.
