kingcscott
So I lay in bed wondering what I may do with a pile of cold hard lottery cash. Who doesn't? My best three buddies would bed a fitting for whatever they may need. Me too, of course. I may have to take a trip somewhere to get it done. Cali to Titleist, Japan for Miura, Mizzy, Fourteen. Atlanta? Close to home for a fitting? A smaller mobile fitting at my home course? Endless possibilities. Jets to Scotland I think. I know of an apartment that overlooks St Andrews. A must start. Many great courses would have to be played with Many dinners and cocktails. End it up before I fly, alone, to Bandon, at Skibo Castle for an adventure with golf falconry and many more great meals. I may have to find them a gift, other than the trip, Like a rare putter or something to serve as a memento. I can see my black and white Jones carry bag tagging along on this trip full of new sticks just waiting for an opportunity to give me a thrill. Can you smell the haggis? GolfJunkie302
Funny you should mention it. Just this morning my wife was telling me how we'd sell the house, keep the condo, and buy one of those hugemongous tour bus/motorhome things - and turn into nomads, just traveling the country, visiting family, friends, and any golf course that might be along the way or out of the way. ... And invite anyone along the way to join us. There's a guy I met a couple of times who's doing just that. He's a golf course photographer and I think he wrote a couple articles for Golf Digest. Anyway, he quit his job and is traveling around the country playing golf in all 50. I'll add a link to his website. He is also on social media. http://www.pjkoenig.com/overview/ Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk downlowkey 1 Quote 2017 M1 460, Project X HZRDUS Black 6.0 JPX EZ 3 wood Fly-Z 4H MP-60, 3i-PW, True Temper Dynamic Gold S5 54° & 58°, True Temper Dynamic Gold California Monterey Pro V1x Link to comment
HardcoreLooper
Love it. I'd pay the extra tuition (it's nearly double the in-state tuition) for my daughter to enroll in the William and Mary/University of St. Andrews dual degree program. And I'd come visit frequently. Headhammer
We would buy a home in Jack's Desert Moutain golf community in AZ and spend our winters there. Then we would jet off to our country cottage on the west coast of Ireland every summer. perseveringgolfer
You dont need a lottery win to stay at a place overlooking St Andrews old course. The Rusacks is 12 feet (yes I measured it lol) from the 18th Fairway and you get great deals there for B&B and its steeped in golf history and memorabilia. AH1980MN
I have standing agreements with several people that if I hit the Powerball, I give them a million dollars, and they me if they win. Beyond that it's cars (of my choosing) for friends and family, college for the kids (nieces, nephews, friends of family, etc.), a modest lake home here and a little cabin up North. A million dollar donation to the Centers for Missing and Exploited Children and some travel would follow. Also- some medical/dental things would be sorted out. And golf EVERYWHERE! kingcscott and MGoBlue100 2 Quote WITB: Adams 9064LS 9.5* (until I cracked the face) Adams Super LS 17* Adams XTD Ti 23* Wilson Staff Ci7 4-PW Adams wedges: 52/7 56/13 60/7 Wilson Staff Infinite Southside putter/Odyssey DualForce 660 putter Link to comment

oaks
My thought would be to go to one of the following: Phoenix, The Kingdom or the ECPC for a full bag fitting. After that it would be a short flight up the coast to Bandon and home... MDGolfHacker
Depending on the amount of the win, I'd breakout the winnings this way: 5 million each to (trust fund): My son My daughter 2 million to: My parents My brother 1 Million to: Mother in Law Brother in Law My niece (trust fund) My nephew (trust fund) Cancer society Alzheimer's Association I'd donate a significant amount to MGS and save a lot of the winnings to make sure I can grow old without worrying about money again (too many horror stories about lottery winners blowing through their cash and being in worse financial shape than before they won the lottery). I would also put aside money for each of my kids college tuitions and that of my neice and nephew so they can all go to college and grad school on me. Now comes the splurge part - *Sell our current house and buy a new home still in Maryland, but on the water. *Buy a beach house...in Aruba *Buy a small boat in the 25' range for cruising the Chesapeake Bay *Buy a dream car...whether that may be a Porsche, Ferrari, Lamborghini, McLaren plus a daily driver (thinking an Audi S8, AMG S65) *Travel And for my golfing buddies...rent a jet to fly all over the world and hit the top 10 best courses. Now if I win the $10 scratch off, it's a meal at McDonald's for the family ðŸ˜ðŸ˜‚🤣 Yeah, I've been thinking about this plan for a while😠MDGolfHacker kingcscott, perseveringgolfer, palvord and 1 other 4 Quote TSssWhat's In This Lefty's Bag?
