2019 Srixon 585's

I just put together a set on the Srixon website. They’re offering straight 585 sets, then mixed sets of 585/785, and even u85/585 sets. So, I looked at the specs of the last one, with the u85 at the top (4-6), and when you get to 6/7 irons, the transition from u85 to 585, the loft difference is 2*! Wow. That isn’t much difference! I assume the distance the ball goes between the two is still a “normal” gap....? If anyone has answers, let me know.

I can confirm that my u65 4 iron at 23 degrees flies further and higher than my 765 4 iron at 22 degrees so I think this gapping makes sense

Do u think the U is as “forgiving” as the 585 would be? Distance for sure.

Can't say for sure. The sole is wider so I'd guess that makes the CG lower and further back which would increase MOI
