I had a Spider Tour before being chosen to test the Evnroll. Really liked the spider tour and would likely still be gaming it off its want for the ER2. ER2 feels better and is more pleasing to my eye. I am more consistent with ER2 from mid range and short range. Was very good at distance control with both

I tried a spider tour for a few months but it didn't suit my eye as well as a blade does. I just have trouble with alignment on mallets.

Gamed a Newport after that and it was much better for me personally. Then I saw Adam's no tech putter video and decided why not try an ER2. Worked with one of the CS reps at Evnroll via email and told him my preferences and that I liked the feel and swingweight of my Scotty. A few emails later I placed my custom order and I couldn't be happier. In combination with putting in practice, and finding a putter that fits me, I'm seeing some decent results.

I rolled the Spider Tour well but couldn't Align it to save my life. I also wasn't a huge fan of the feel of the insert.

Try a Bobby Grace F-18 putter. Just bought a used one and in 3 rounds have had no 3 putts and the insert gives you a soft feel and gets the ball rolling forward better than anything I have tried. You can't go wrong with this putter

My DJ Spider Tour Black has been collecting dust for 6 mths now, and no regrets.  Replaced it with an ER2 and it has been amazing for me.

I've been on a spiritual journey over the last 1.5 yrs to improve my putting (including a lot of practice).  It went as follows:

Odyssey Rossie (10yrs)--->Ping Anser G (1mth)--->Spider Tour Black (6mths including winter)--->ER2 (January '18)

It was a tough year of putting during the putter transitions, but I can honestly say I'm putting better than ever, and have some serious confidence standing over anything inside 10'.

Historical putt avg last 3 yrs: 34.6

Putt avg since ER2 (27rds): 31.4

I don't plan on changing for years to come...

I haven't gamed the Evnroll ER2, only tested it out but have had both the DJ black spider and the red spider #3 with the sight line. I don't know what it is with Evnroll, but when I gamed the ER7 for about 3 weeks, the setup of the putter was off. It looked like you really had to put on a forward press to get the thing to line up correctly. I hated it. Went to a golf shop that had a lefty ER2 and the same thing. It is definitely a personal thing for me that the Evnroll doesn't sit square when resting at address. It very well could be square, but to my eye, it doesn't sit square. The red spider #3 with the sightline really was easy to align, the putter didn't fit my stroke. With the mini spider and new sight lines available for the black and red spider, you might just need to go try them out at a large golf retailer/pro shop.

Disclaimer: I'm a putter ho and my opinion is one that changes with the seasons. Here today, gone tomorrow is very appropriate as to my putter collection.

I actually just went from the spider tour platinum to the ER7 and I am finding it much easier to align and handle speed control. I really liked the spider and gamed all last year but I struggled with distances. I am hoping the ER7 changes that as during practice the consistency with my lag puts was really on point.

I've had the tour black and tour red with the sight line.  I don't like the look of the putter but I putt more consistently with the spiders than anything I've ever used.  I've tried a LOT of different putters hoping to find a more traditional looking putter that i could be successful and comfortable with.  I bought the ER2 when they first came out and it didn't click with me then.  I recently changed from the fatter red and white grip to black pistol grip that they offer.  It has flat wide sides and it fits my hands very well.  Its only been a few rounds but the ER2 with the new grip is making a real run at replacing the spider.

I'm currently battling it right now between the tour black spider with no sight lines and the er2.

The spider I feel I'm hitting it more square but the no sight lines takes some getting used to. I prefer the look of blades but love the balance of mallets. So in a way, the er2 feels like a hybrid of both blade and mallet.

I think the er2 will kick the spider out. I'm putting better with it and most birdie putts I face are usually 15-25 feet and this is where this putter truly shines. I feel I make more longer putts with er2 and shorter putts with the spider. Because shorter putts I worry too much about alignment and have self doubt. No alignment eliminates that and I just use the line on my ball.

I might see about covering up the sightline on the er2 and see if that helps.

I'm hoping by end of month I'll finally settle on a permanent gamer and I'm rooting for the er2.
