Nmrfgomes 69
Hi to all the tinkerers, Here´s my tinkering project.... I have a 3 wood i bought cheap and i don´t actually play with it right now, it´s a Slazenger v300 with steel shaft and i ruined the grip, i was thinking how would it feel if i grip it with tennis grips ? The complete project is to change the shaft for a grafite one, repaint the club head and install a tennis grip ( maybe with the rackets hold end and all ). I will be posting some pictures soon, feel free to drop your comment´s on the idea.

bens197 5,857
Try to find a heavier graphite shaft. The head weight of this club with a steel shaft is likely substantial. Adding a lighter graphite shaft with a tennis wrap and you'll end up with one of these... Nmrfgomes 69
For starters thank you for the input, The idea wasn´t just adding a wrap but also the all hand part from a rackett. The idea was to see how it would influence the club reaction so Thank You very much to Topline for the SW intel. The shaft exchange was also to maybe give a softer kick because right now it feels unbalanced during the swing. So i will have to choose the shaft very well.
