How can you not love the fake ball in cup sound after nearly every putt??

I'm absolutely loving it. The best in the world vs the toughest test, it's no accident that 4 recent major champions are in the top 4 spots.

I don't know if I could break 90 if I was spotted approach shots from 100 yards out in the middle of the fairway on every hole

Carnage... There is a fine line between a great golf shot that stays on the green and a really nice shot that doesn't.

They don't. Generally don't have hat much of a shine and they actually have a bit of grass on them. The USGA has lost this place yet again.

It's fun to watch the carnage because you get to see how mentally strong these guys are. Kinda nice to see them struggle the way we do on rinky dink courses.

Just an observation, but couldn't they narrow the fairways more, leave the rough the way it is and not absolutely bake out the greens. Some of the fairways are huge but it's impossible to hold a green. Feel like the challenge would be a bit more fair if you could hold the green from the fairway but it was really hard to hit the fairways.

David Fay has it right.... they cut the grass too short...a quarter to a half inch would make a huge difference.

Some of these greens with the pin placements are just unplayable.
